“Very Disappointing”
+I'll be honest and no offence to the owner - I really didn't like anything.
−The property on the website looked promising. Unfortunately on opening the door I was greeted by the most horrendous smell of grease, fish, etc. Despite airing the property i would not go. Towels were hard and smelt of mould - mould could clearly be seen in the washing machine. Sheets were polyester and stained. Blankets on beds were smelly. Fungus was growing on door frames. I booked it as I was having work done to my own house which was near by. It was a really bad experience and I regret wasting my money. I did not return after the second night.

+Location , the size , the gf was just perfect for my granny who finds it difficult to use stairs but the only reason booked this place because it had the accessible walk in showers and it was as beautiful in the pictures but even more amazing in person .

“A Fantastic hideaway in a lovely part of the world”
+The cottage is a lovely space. A fantastic use of an ancient farm building, tastefully converted and very welcoming all in a beautiful location, we walked around the lakes and never tired of the immediate area and the views of the surrounding countryside - just like the pictures. The local town had everything we needed on our doorstep, that made the mundane everyday things super easy
−The weather :) - Has to be the wettest November in living memory? That definitely didn't spoil our stay and our dogs couldn't care less, they, simply, loved it.

+Spacious, clean, private with great views and a perfect safe space for the dog.
−The beds- The detergent used irritated my skin so had to sleep in the upstairs bed. Both beds were too small with mattresses needing to be updated to springless. If I’m being picky, some friendly critic… Light green towels were without fabric softener and felt quite rough, but did the job. Bathroom door upstairs needs fitting properly. There were 100 flys in the sky light windows upstairs found them when I opened them up, the light shade above the double bed had lots of dead flys in. No recycling facilities. Black freelander on entrance to Lakeview cottage was awkwardly parked so had to manoeuvre each time.
