10.0“Wonderful stay in a beautiful cottage, we will happily return!”
+Beautiful little cottage, lots of amenities and a bonus bottle of prosecco! The hosts were very thoughtful.
−Dragging our bags across the pebble car park was a bit challenging.

8.0“Charming spot in an idyllic location”
+An incredibly charming stay in a beautiful area. We loved the location and surroundings of Laich cottage, and the layout/decor were very well put together. It was nice to have the option of the fireplace and hot tub. It was super convenient being between Oban and Glencoe. The host left Prosecco and jam which was a lovely touch. We really enjoyed our stay!
−Maybe because we stayed right at the tail end of high season, but the cottage was in need of a deeper clean. Being from Canada we also would have appreciated a few more basics provided (e.g. there were no tea bags, only 2 packets of instant coffee, one loo roll for a 4 day stay etc.).

10.0“very nice and would for sure stay there again in a blind minute!”
+so dark at night, if it hadn't been cloudy it would have a spectacular night sky. Cute small stand alone house. very cozy and homey. Out in the country, quiet.
−instructions to find it were missing a piece. A right turn after turning off the main road. Had to get help from the neighbors to find it. Deeply grateful it wasn't dark when we arrived and the neighbor had a door open, and could help us. The hot tub possibly has a leak and wouldn't fill all the way, only 1/2 way and all the water was out in the morning. It is a wood fired hot tub and more work to deal with than was communicated in advance.

10.0“Fabulous”
+The cottage is cosy, tastefully furnished & very well equipped. The garden is pretty secure so great for our dogs. The location is gorgeous with attractive garden and next door to an amazing garden/garden centre. Comfy bed, good controllable heating. Everything you could possibly want! We did not use the hot tub but a great thing to have. Appin is a magical place and the cottage makes a great base for exploring the local area and beyond.
−A very tiny thing but some sort of trolley would be useful.for transporting luggage from car to cottage.

10.0+The cottage was very cozy. It was lovely to have a bottle of prosecco and some marmalade to welcome us. It was quiet, clean and safe! The hot tub was really fun and the staff in the garden centre were so lovely and accommodating. Really kind with my girls and we really enjoyed learning about the birds.
−Nothing at all

10.0“Beautiful country cottage with private garden.”
+Beautiful country cottage. Comfortable and quaint decor appropriate for the setting. Lovely wraparound private garden which we enjoyed as it was very sunny when we stayed. Free parking beside the property. Owners were helpful with check in request.
−Nothing. It was great. It at be tricky to find though as the road is a private track that goes up to it and didn’t appear in my sat nav. A bit of common sense though and we found it. :)

10.0+Beautiful peaceful location. Friendly host. Amazing part of the country. Spectacular views nearby. In the grounds of a garden centre with a walled garden full of beautiful flowers. A good distance from the main road, so very peaceful. The only downer was having to leave.
−The length of time we were able to stay there. Not that booted us out, just travelling on a limited budget.

10.0“Magical”
+This place is heaven. A beautiful cottage hidden in a cozy garden, hills on one side, loch nearby on the other. Waking up and falling asleep to birdsong and sheep calling each other was better than any spa retreat. The next door garden centre with the woodland walk was magical. Castle Stalker is only a 20-min walk from the cottage, Port Appin with convenience store, amazing gift shop, fish and chips restaurant, and short walk to Clach Thoull is only about a 7-min drive. Glen Coe and Glen Etive (Skyfall) are only about 30-min drive along the beautiful coastal road. I could go on… Thank you Fiona and family was sharing this place with others.
