“Two sides of the same coin”
+The appartment was freshly renovated, stylize and clean, but also homy. The owner/host was very friendly and showed the best places and good restaurants on the map and also told where not to go.
−It seems that Catania is pretty divided. Some places are nice and some are poor and ghettoish. If you want to get off from tourist streets, you pretty fast find your self in places which make you remember that some people have it a lot worse than you.

“Great location”
+This was an excellent apartment. The location was brilliant. Francesco was great at communicating, welcoming and extremely helpful. It was kind to have some provisions such as coffees and cake left out for us. It had good air con in the main lounge and one of the bedrooms. The terrace was spacious and the large canopy made it a good space. Also good to have dishwasher and washing machine available.
−The water pressure meant the shower in main bathroom was poor but I suspect this is a general issue in the city. It was a great apartment for 4 people with 2 double bedrooms. As we were a group of 6, one couple had to sleep in the mezzanine above the living space which impacted on privacy and noise but if you don't mind this, it was good value.

“Gorgeous modern property in the heart of Catania ❤️”
+Wonderful, clean, bright and spacious property in walking distance of all the amenities in Catania. The large balcony is great. Nice comfortable beds, air con perfect ...we had a lovely stay, thank you Francesco

+It was a lovely spacious apartment with great facilities. The location was brilliant - so convenient for the centre. Our host was very helpful and welcoming.
−It would benefit from a guest guide to show how to use things like the downstairs shower (which was too complicated for us!). Also, the mezzanine bedroom can get hot and would benefit from a fan.

“The best house in Sicily!”
+Everything was super! Thanks a lot to Francesco, he was super helpful in every situation! I highly recommend this house, its very cozy and our stay was very pleasant! The terrace is very suitable for a shared breakfast and birthday party! It was the best vacation in my life!

“He was the best host we have ever had and his place was perfect.”
+The host was amazing. We accidentally locked ourselves out of the place he was there in 10 minutes to let us in. Then on our way back from a day trip we realized we had lost the keys to the house and the parking place he was there in 10 minutes to let us in and had a great attitude about it all. The place was a beautiful with large bedrooms and bathrooms and a wonderful balcony that looks out to the surrounding area where you could even see fireworks nightly. It is very well maintained and the host was very concerned that we had everything we needed. When we checked in he spent plenty of time making sure we knew everything about the place and how it all worked. He also gave us some great recommendations of places to eat which was super helpful. He speaks very good English which was great for communicating. It was close to everything and the option to pay for private parking was a bonus. I would highly recommend his beautiful place to everyone.

“Aufenthalt mit Schönheitsfehlern”
+Die Lage ist sehr zentrumsnah, Parkplätze in der Nähe waren ausreichend vorhanden.
−Die Unterkunft wirkt auf den ersten Blick sehr modern und sehr gut ausgestattet und war sicher einmal top, allerdings müsste in die Pflege mehr investiert werden. Einige Punkte , die uns aufgefallen sind: In den Duschen bildet sich Schimmel in den Umrandungen. In einem Schlafzimmer ist keine Klimaanlage, sondern nur ein Luftkühler installiert, dies führt zu extrem hohen Temperaturen im Raum. Die Sitzkissen für die Terrassenmöbel sind extrem dreckig und schimmlig und nicht verwendbar. Als es regnete, tropfte Wasser vom Dach in das obere Stockwerk.
