“A wonderful place to stay”
+La Scaletta is a gem in the city of Lecce. Centrally located in the historic centre, it is a perfect place to stay while exploring this beautiful place. The apartment is spacious, clean and comfortable and offers a pretty private terrace, which is a wonderful area for dining, relaxing and a spot of sunbathing.

“I would come back here again amazing place”
+The host was amazing. The location was amazing, it was quiet at night but you are just steps away from restaurants, bars, shopping in beautiful old town. It was remarkable.

“Utterly delightful flat with amazing terrace”
+This flat is fantastic. The stairs to the flat are fabulous and lead straight onto the beautiful terrace. The flat itself is enchantingly decorated and is very spacious with some lovely furniture. The bed was very comfortable, as was the sofa to sit on, the AC was brilliant, the bathroom and kitchen all immaculately clean. And then there is the amazing terrace! We loved the colours, the beautiful flowers, the huge cushions, the lovely lighting, the pretty tables. A fabulous place to sit - incredibly peaceful. Amazingly quiet, given that - in two minutes you turn a corner - and you are in the lovely bustle of Lecce’s old streets. Some great bars and restaurants minutes from the flat. Francesco is the most wonderful host. He met us and showed us around the flat, recommended some great restaurants - even booked us a taxi and gave us a wonderful present. 100% recommend Francesco’s flat. He also had another one which we would love to stay in too. Thank you!

“Amazing stay in Lecce!”
+Highly recommend this apartment! It has a perfect location, close to the old town centre but still calm. The hospitality and service was exceptional. The apartment is very nice and clean, with a cozy terrace and all needed facilities.

“Truly is an exceptional place”
+The location is perfect: it is a private house in the heart of the historic center yet close to the main attractions. The house is well-appointed and tastefully renovated and decorated and comfortably furnished with no clutter that feels like a boutique hotel. There is a well equipped sparkling clean kitchen with all orderly supplies and appliances, nice bathroom with good plumbing fixtures and basic necessary toiletries. The place is professionally cleaned, comfortable, both A/C’s are working great (during our super hot summer stay we came to rest home in the afternoon, it was very pleasant to close the shutters and take a nap in a cool place to escape the heat). The homeowner was responding promptly, met us on time and helped with recommendations and was very accommodating. There is a private terrace that is beautiful enough for a romantic evening or some special gathering, decorated with hand-made beautiful outdoor light fixtures, plants and soft seating and a dining table - it’s very picturesque! The staircase leading to the upstairs is a masterpiece on its own, the whole place is way better looking in real life than the pictures. Yes is 100 percent exceptional.

“Beautiful spacious apartment with great terrace”
+Just north from the hustle and bustle from Lecce's historic, central area, this apartment is a haven of peace and quiet, and at the same time you are within easy reach of all the monuments, restaurants etc. It has its own entrance with the quirky 'scaletta'. The roof terrace is big, private, and a real asset. With fragrant jasmines flowering and other big plant containers. The apartment is spacious, very clean and decorated with care and an eye for detail. The bed is very comfy (and it is quiet at night!), Our host was waiting for us to give the keys; a very friendly and accomodating man, whom we could reach whenever we wanted. One of our best experiences when travelling!

“Lovely charming apartment in a lovely charming small Italian town”
+I picked the location because it was outside the Officine Cantelmo where I was contributing to a student course. The location is also inside the old city center with a very close walk to restaurants. The apartment has a very nice and large terrace (however a bit too cold to use during my visit in March). It was very nice to have more space than I would have had with a hotel room.
−The kitchen was very well equipped with all I needed - except one minor thing. There was a basic Italian espresso pot for boiling espresso coffee, but if I should mention something here, I missed a more automatic coffee machine. I often enjoy the capsule machines I often find in hotel rooms.
