“Great apartment for couples or a family”
+It started off as a comedy of errors, but with the kind persistance of our hostess and a very nice lady in the street, we found La Rosa. A well presented apartment with a 15 - to 20-minute walk to the centre, I think we went the longway round. We had problems with the hot water and wifi, which were fixed with one phone call.

+Booked very last minute and hosts were quick to accommodate. Also quick to respond and resolve any issues (such as no hot water). Clean, comfortable, well equipped. Surprisingly quiet for it's location.
−Quite hard to find. Although clean, the apartment smelt of dog which was a bit unpleasant.

“Nice place but TOOOOO noisy!”
+Pros: AC worked well and we HAD to use it due to the loud street noise (see more under cons). Nice place but would NOT return for this reason--the noise. Washer and wif both worked well, kitchen was outfitted reasonably and had starter coffee, sugar, oil/vinegar and spices. Liked the ability to sit on the patio. Easy to walk to town, bus stop nearby and grocery store is a 3 min walk.
−Cons: Super, super noisy area with motorbikes going very quickly down the narrow alleyway the apt is located on, as well as deliveries to the nearby grocery store by tractors. t is a shame that the front door that faces this alleyway is so ill fitted that it allows a huge amount of street noise to enter. Bring your earplugs! There is a parking lot that backs up to the flat and that makes it noisy as well. However, it is a plus that there is a parking lot nearby if you have a car. TV was not working when we got there and due to Sat/Sun it was not fixed until Monday but was fixed. The shower does not have any sort of curtain or door so the entire room gets wet no matter how careful you are - you end up mopping the floor each and every shower.

“Nice family apartment near the port”
+Spacious, clean and lovely decorated apartment in the city center with easy access by taxi and by foot. We especially liked the small details, the cleanliness and the possibility to wash our clothes (washing machine incl detergent available). Short walk to the port to take the ferry.
−You can hear the street noise very well. A little difficult to communicate with the owner if you don’t speak greek :-)

“Exceptional”
+Nice recently renovated ground level guest house, fully equipped kitchen, rooms and bathroom with even a small washing machine, rooms and beds are comfortable and clean,, there is a nice open air dining./sitting area to have a coffee or drink outside, location is very convenient as it's literally next to a free public parking area, in short walking distance from the port and Ermoupoli center. Overall good value for money and would definitely recommend it to anyone. If there is a con to be recorded is that rooms could do with a bit more wardrobe space, wasn't much of an issue for us but can see it being one for others especially with young children.

“Perfect!”
+The apartment was perfect, it was clean and spacious and had a everything we needed for comfortable stay, there was a good sized shop just around the corner and the bus stop to visit the beaches was a 5 min walk by the port (see timetable attached). The town centre was also only 10 minutes walk. The outdoor terrace was an added bonus. All in all we had a wonderful stay and would definitely stay again if we were to return!

+Η κυρία που μας υποδέχτηκε ήταν ευγενέστατη και εξυπηρετική. Το σπίτι ήταν άνετο και με αρκετές παροχές. Είχε πλυντήριο, πιστολάκι, σίδερο, πετσέτες, σαμπουάν, καφέδες κλπ. Ήταν πεντακάθαρο και με καλό κλιματισμό. Είναι κοντά στην Ερμούπολη και ακριβώς απ' έξω υπάρχει δημόσιο parking. Σας ευχαριστούμε πολύ!
−Η μπανιέρα καλό θα ήταν να έχει γύρω γύρω κάποιο πεζουλάκι ή κουρτίνα για να περιορίζονται τα νερά.
