“Great place to stay in Palermo”
+- Great location - very close to city center and major tourist spots but in smaller street. Not the nicest neighborhood (and especially access street) but felt quite safe and wasn't excessively loud. - Nice flat and decor, had a lot of character, felt local and authentic. Good amenities. - Great host and communication - very accommodating when our flight was delayed.
−Shouldn't ask guests to take trash off site and clean the kitchen when leaving: this is the property's job and it isn't stated on the listing (... this isn't AirBnB - and even they are banning that now).

“Gianni you rock:) your apartment is belissimo!”
+it was my second time in Palermo and I loved it! this flat is amazing and it’s bang on in central Palermo walking distance to cafes, bars, restaurants and shops. Gianni-the host made me feel welcome from the start and is the loveliest host I’ve ever met:) the flat is huge, has an amazing vibe, is clean and has everything you need:)) I would 1000% be back at la Giara in the future and would recommend it anytime and everytime!

+Very cool interior design, AC in the bedroom and a ventilator in the kitchen area. We liked a small balcony for having our morning coffee and the kitchen was well equipped.

+Very interesting decor with many antiques and art throughout. Great location, close to so many restaurants, sights, people watching. There was a beautiful, comfortable bed and pillows, quiet at night, everything we needed in the kitchen. Nice to sit out on the balcony off the bedroom and watch the neighborhood below. It was quite sunny there throughout the day without any shade from the heat of the sun (some people would love this, some might wish for a bit of shade)
−Bathroom was a bit small with nowhere really to put toiletries so we kept these in the dining room area. Also, access to the apartment is from an alleyway that did not have a lot of ‘curb appeal’ so do not be put off by this because the apartment is delightful.

“Cute and charming place in the center”
+Very cutely decorated. It felt like having my own home in Palermo. Little sunny balcony to the street is lovely for morning coffee. Host was super friendly.

−The kitchen tap is loose so it’s a bit flimsy when you’re turning the water on and off. but this is an easy fix
