“Good”
+The place gave a feel of what we expected from a country house. The lack of heat in early April was very noticeable. The tiny wood burning stove took the edge off, but still needed jackets. Was disappointed we had to pay for the firewood that was a necessity. The kitchen pots and pans were quite tired as were the utensils. On the upside, the outdoor kitchen was fun. The place was a mix of old country charm and needs some lovin'. The owner was very very nice and accomodating. P.s. The photo at the top of this review is not exactly accurate.

“Superb”
+My family stayed at La Chumbera for two nights and we had a great stay. The property is really peaceful and beautiful. Upon arrival Jose was waiting to greet us and provided firewood for an additional €15. We were happy to find the house very clean, and appreciated the warm bedding as the bedrooms were a little cold at night. The photos represent the house well, except in person it’s even better! Plenty of parking, easily accessible from the road, such a great house. The location is perfect for those wanting to travel to Setenil and Ronda.

“Nice village house”
+Location close to Ronda. Authentic village house, big pool. Host Jose was friendly and flexible. Very quite place and good to relax after travelling around.
−Smell, most probably of manure. House was clean, but around house waste, visible through windows little spoiled the whole impression.

“Exceptional”
+We liked everything. The house is very beautiful and easy to find. In it, you find everything you need for a confortable and pleasant stay. The outdoor kichten on the back terrace near the pool is amazing, practically we only entered the house to sleep, the rest of the time we spent it there. The pool is big and gorgeous. It is very close to Ronda and Setenil, but if you have a car in less than 2 hours ride, you can get to Sevilla or Cadiz or Cordoba... The owner is very pleasant and helpful. Muchas gracias por todo!!!

+Precioso sitio para compartir con tu gente tranquilamente, vistas geniales, chimenea, piscina muy grande.. todo precioso y limpio. Jose el propietario era súper amable y dispuesto, nos dio todo tipo de comodidades y facilidades. Volveremos sin duda!

+La casa es súper bonita, no le falta detalle, muy bien equipada, decorada con muy buen gusto y con unas calidades que no encuentras todos los días. El espacio de la terraza, piscina y jardín fantástico para aprovechar el buen tiempo. Nuestra perra también disfruto mucho. Las camas cómodas y acogedoras. Los anfitriones, Tere y José fueron muy amables y resolutivos. José nos tenía encendida la chimenea cuando llegamos. Además, tiene una ubicación excelente, a las afueras del pueblo pero muy cerca y también de Ronda. La verdad que pasamos un maravilloso finde en familia. Repetiremos🫶
