“We wanted to stay forever!”
+We absolutely loved everything about our stay at La Candelaria. The apartment is beautiful, spacious and well-equipped with plenty of indoor and outdoor space. The location is amazing - 2 minutes from the gorgeous and quiet beach, a few minutes walk into the fishing town of Dibulla where there are a few restaurants, shops and a beach bar. Margarita, the host, is the loveliest woman - always going above and beyond to help and also brilliant to talk to. We extended our stay because we wanted to stay forever! We will definitely come back next time we visit Colombia. Amazing value for money, especially for this part of the country. Highly recommend!!

“A small paradise in Dibulla”
+Everything was exceptional. The house an example of Colombian architecture, spacious and clean. Magnificent outdoor space with hammocs and a refreshing small pool. Walking distance to the village. Our host Marga is a wonderful and cultivate person who was next to us for everything we needed. If you want to get relax vibes in a quiet and not touristic carribean village this is the place. Thank you Marga!

“Genuine serenity”
+Every attention to detail was made by margarita to ensure we had a lovely stay in this artistic and elegant home which is fully partitioned to give you a cosy and private living space. Meanwhile Dibulla is a genuine locals coastal town with a peaceful and tranquil beach that you get virtually all to yourself to watch the fishermen at work, also calm enough to swim short distances. Local shops are available if you walk 10 mins into town... there's only a couple of restaurants and hotel bars by the beach in town, that's about it so if, like us, you're looking for genuine serenity you'll find it here!
−Plan to cater breakfasts and maybe other meals for yourself, but the kitchen has everything you need including an air fryer and microwave!

“Exceptional”
+We had the best time at La Candelabra. Margarita was an incredible host from start to finish and we are so grateful for her kindness - she genuinely went above and beyond to help us with anything and everything. At the end of the front garden, you cross the road and you're on the beach! And when you're done after a swim, you have a pool and hammocks to relax in. We spent 3 days here after and before a more chaotic part of travelling and it was perfect! We couldn't recommend it more highly. We used the kitchen for breakfast, lunch and dinner - it's perfect. And when we didn't fancy cooking, Margarita recommended and organised lunch and dinner from local businesses. The house is designed beautifully and we loved all the artistic touches from Margarita herself. A huge bonus for us was for 4 gorgeous dogs but they're so well trained that if you're not a dog lover, they wouldn't bother you either!

“Exceptional”
+Margarita is the best host we've ever had. Beautifull person inside and out. When you need help, she is there. Also the dogs are very cute. We stayed for 5 nights and it felled like we were the best neighbours. We feeled very welcome and the kitchen had everything you need to make 2 or 3 meals a day (you can do groceries in small shops in Dibulla and we also went to a bigger supermarket in an other town). Best stay of our trip!
−We knew it before, so it didn't dissapointed us, but in Dibulla is not a lot do. When you are looking for a little village where are a few restaurants and the other things you do is a morning swim in the ocean and chilling at La Candelaria, this is the place to be.

“¡El lugar perfecto para desconectar!”
+Viajé solo y me hospedé durante tres noches en La Candelaria. Debo decir que fue la decisión correcta. Quería pasar mi cumpleaños en un ambiente muy específico: no buscaba un lugar lleno de turistas, como puede ser Palomino, ni un resort, ni un plan social o de mucho movimiento. Buscaba más bien silencio, retiro, descanso, atardecer, lectura, playa y una cena especial. Y mi estancia en La Candelaria me ofreció justamente eso: una casa íntima, bonita y cómoda, con esa sensación de refugio que se disfruta tanto en pareja como solo. Dibulla no es un destino turístico saturado, ni un lugar lleno de comercios o vendedores en la playa. Al contrario, se siente como un pequeño paraíso; por momentos, casi como un lugar aún por descubrir. Tiene las comodidades y la infraestructura necesarias para estar realmente bien. No es un lugar para todo el mundo, especialmente si eres de los que necesitan actividad constante, ruido o estar moviéndose todo el tiempo de un sitio a otro. Pero si lo que buscas es intimidad, calma y descanso de verdad, este lugar vale mucho la pena. Mi anfitriona, Margarita, fue además algo así como la cereza del pastel durante mi estancia. −Como único detalle, el aire acondicionado no estaba funcionando, aunque sí había ventiladores. Las noches estuvieron bastante calientes y, para mí, ese punto habría hecho la experiencia perfecta. Aun así, no le resta mérito a la experiencia en absoluto. Sin duda, recomiendo este lugar.

“Maravilloso, volveré”
+El sitio como tal es hermoso y tiene una excelente ubicación, pero lo que te enamora del sitio es la amabilidad de doña margarita, te atiende como si fueras parte de su familia , además te hace recomendaciones sobre todo los que puedes hacer en la zona, la verdad es un sitio para volver, gracias por tanto

+Margarita est une personne adorable Nous avons partagé de supers moments avec elle mais également des moments de détente dans le jacuzzi et la mer (juste en face de la maison) L'endroit est calme et très agréable, on espère pouvoir y revenir un jour !!

“Excepcional y memorable estancia!”
+La Candelaria ofrece un hospedaje ideal para quienes buscan tranquilidad y comodidad. La cabaña es hermosa, muy fresca para la zona y tiene una cocina muy completa. La piscina está genial para los días cuando el mar esta muy picado, y Margarita es una anfitriona excepcional.
