“Fun, relaxing, history, chocolate and beer!”
+Beautiful house, very clean & homely. Had all facilities including much needed aircon in the top bedroom as we were in the middle of a heatwave. Katrien even put some drinks in the fridge - some were complimentary and some were available to buy. But they were a nice touch particularly in the heat. Location was excellent with all areas of the old town in walking distance.
−Steep narrow stairs - but I suspect that is typical of all houses in the old town.

+It was nice to have a kitchen and washing machine to use, since we had been travelling for the last 4 weeks. Good location. Easy walk to all places.
−It was much smaller than we thought. The stairs to the top floor (attic) are very steep that you have to walk backwards to come down them. On the top floor it has a nice shower & basin but no toilet. You have to go back down to the second level. For the bedroom on the first level, you had to go back down to the kitchen to have a shower. We were a group of four and all of us were unable to take our luggage up the stairs. We had to leave the luggage in the lounge room and take up to our bedrooms what we would need. The place would be perfect for two people or even a family with only two children.

“Overall, very enjoyable - would certainly consider again”
+Very quiet area, but not far to restaurants and pubs. Good small supermarket nearby, very clean, and generally very well-equipped
−Stairs were quite steep (not much that could be done, but guests should be aware). Slightly odd that the top bedroom (2nd floor) had a shower, but no toilet (but I imagine there were good plumbing reasons for this), which does mean that a night-time loo trip (essential for some of us oldies) might reuire a trip down the steep stairs. The oven was high up above the microwave, and a bit tricky to get things in and out, particularly as we couldn't find an oven cloth - probably most people won't use an oven, so wouldn't be an issue an issue. Overall though, we really liked the property - just worth bearing these points in mind. If my arthritic ankles get worse, it could prove tricky!

+Great location, beautiful town and quiet neighberhood. We will highly recommend it to our friends. Parking was a short walk away. We dropped off our luggage early, then parked the car and walked around Brugge. We loved exploring Brugge. One day, we took the bus to the train station then took the train to Ghent. We spent 5 nights here in Brugge and found lots of places to explore. The stairs are steep but we liked the Dutch home experience. We appreciated having two showers and two toilets. We used the washing machine and clothes dryer very useful.
−The oven is too high to use. We just used the microwave.

“Great location to explore Bruges on foot.”
+Excellent location. Clean and well appointed house. The stairs are steep but were manageable for my 83 year old mother in law.

“Beautifully appointed, comfortable and clean home in the Old Town”
+It felt like home away from home. Very comfortable and clean with a beautiful Christmas tree and decorations. Fabulous location right in the Old Town. The host Katrien was very responsive and when we had problems with our mobile coverage she very kindly booked us a cab to the train station. Wished we could have stayed longer.
−Nothing, loved it!
