“Lovely place, besutiful location, however needs some serious maintenace.”
+The location on the Crocodile River, and very close to Malelane gste.
−The place is lacking maintenance, looking a bit run down. This is our 10th visit (3rd in 2026), we see a decline in standards each time we visit. In our chalet the front door handle fell off, the outside lamp did’nt work (in May also broken), our fridge got so hot we could not touch it - staff said this was normal🫣 The swimming pool was very dirty, murky and the creepy crawly was not working, no pool maintenance done during our 4 day stay. Hopefully the quality improves, at the moment I am seriously considereing cancelling my booking for Feb 2027:

+Location on the river was wonderful with lookout catwalk . Lovely pool and and lawns. Very comfortable chalet well equipped and the stoep overlooking the river was perfect for our braai.
−The beds were a bit too hard for our liking.

“Splendid! Never disappoints.”
+This place never disappoints. Ideal for large groups in need of some quality quiet time right at the heart of nature. This is literally your home away from home, with all you need (whether you would like to give cooking a rest or not). Breathtaking views and certainly one of those not for 1 but 2, 3 or more night places.
−The chalet we stayed at had two bedrooms enough for up to 4 people (two single beds and one large double bed) and the living room had two sofa beds.. So I wasnt sure why we were not allowed to book it for the 5 of us (three adults and 2 children) and had, instead, to book another challet for one of the adults .

“Lovely location. The Deck restaurant is very close which has a lovely outlook over the river. Woul”
+Location was lovely. Very clean and tidy. Big bedrooms and good showers.
−We stayed in a 3 bed chalet. It was very nice but you couldnt access the bedrooms from inside the chalet, they could only be accessed individually from outside. This isn't ideal if you have young children.
