+The host and ladies were very friendly. I was met with a smile when I got there and the ladies even made a fire for me when it was raining so I could stay warm while watching TV. The whole place was clean and the bed vey comfortable.

“The stay was comfortable.”
+Had a comfortable stay.
−No room was available for the remaining week I was in Stellenbosch University, which made me to hustle to get one when I had a tight schedule with my assignments. I needed a peace of mind. I wish if something could have been arranged.

“Phenomenal week spent in The Teak Den, no complaints!”
+Despite our flight being delayed the host stayed up until we arrived at 12am to ensure we checked in safely and felt welcomed. This lovely little home was at the perfect location, central to all places we needed to get to as well as in a safe comfortable area. Housekeeping was consistant but did not intrude. We felt it was easy to come and go as we pleased and the host was always in contact with us to ensure any questions we had were answered.
−My only issue was that in the shower, the temperature indicators were the opposite of what the temperature of the water (i.e. hot indicator was actually cold and vice versa) but it did not take long to figure out and our showers were excellent from there onwards. Other than that there was truly nothing serious to complain about.
