“Cottage with rustic charm.”
+The location was good. We walked into Holt a few times. It was 5 minutes in the car to see relatives. The bed was comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped.
−Rustic charm also means low doorways, tricky if you are tall. The bathroom was adequate but needed a deep clean. The stairs are very steep so not recommended for very young or very old.

“Had a great holiday, Holt is a small but lovely place and the cottage is in a quiet cul-de-sac.”
+We liked the location - short walk into Holt and short drive to Cromer. Chris and Sally were lovely and easy to contact. Everything we needed was there and every room was clean and comfortable. The private lawn kept our two year old grandson happy and the bath (with shower attached) was a bonus. Plenty of room to park the car outside the cottage.
−The stairs were a bit awkward as they were narrow at the bottom where they turn towards the kitchen but we knew about this before we booked.

“We will visit again”
+Good location. We expected a small cottage, which it was, but very cosy and had everything you could want, including being able to turn on the heating on a colder night. Hosts were very congenial trying to accommodate our arrival time and ensuring we appreciated the stairs are steep. It is of course a period cottage so that wasn't unusual.
−The light over the bathroom basin wasn't working. I'm sure that has been rectified now

“Cute convenient but a little traffic.”
+Cute and extremely well equipped. Extremely clean and fresh. Lovely gardens.
−Sandwiched between A49 and,Hempstead Road. So background traffic noise.

“Lovely old cottage with all mod cons and exactly as described.”
+Easy access with parking outside the cottage. Very much as described a modernised 2 up 2 down cottage with a bathroom downstairs. Big garden with furniture and Barbecue. living room with fold away table and chairs. 2 large bedrooms and fully equipped modern kitchen.
−Very steep stairs (but this was highlighted in the description) Low doorways. It is a 15 minute walk into town.
