“Very dangerous, difficult access. We froze. No microwave, dirty water. A W F U L customer service!!”
+Good location and view My kids thought the record player was interesting, they'd never seen one before. We enjoyed the visiting birds on the balcony - Kookaburras, king parrots, crimson rosellas and sulphur crested cockatoos. When we eventually got it going the fireplace was nice. Shower was good
−SAFETY This place is DANGEROUS. Don’t bring heavy luggage unless you’re very fit. It’s a steep climb up hazardous steps. Carrying bags is risky at the best of times, don’t attempt it in wet weather or the dark with poor lighting. We’re not an athletic, thrill-seeking family and were unprepared. Our 10-year-old fell three times! Luckily, he wasn’t hurt. Bring a head torch if you plan to use the steps at night. The gas line out front looks like amateur work with second-hand piping, seriously unsafe. COMFORT We froze the first night. Blankets were inadequate for late September and no spares were provided. Only one small heater for the whole house. The fireplace was unusable on the first night and it was cold there,no kindling, no firelighters to be found. The next day we found some hidden under the TV. We eventually found a second heater hidden in the outhouse on day 3,by sheer luck, not thanks to the owner, agent, or “support”. Place really smelled bad when we got there and needed airing. KITCHEN / CATERING No microwave - when you have kids and want to eat at home, you really miss not having one. Tap water was filthy, very brown and undrinkable. Rainwater system clearly hasn’t been cle

“Very good”
+Record player & awesome record collection as well as great books & Dvd collection too. Can stream TV too. Shabby chic beach shack decor.
−Brown tank water in use for bathroom & kitchen needs. Smells very metalic/rusty. We bought drinking water from store $16 for 10L . No wifi password. Sent a link that wouldn't open. Contacted ocean rd holiday letting agency but they were very ineffective & couldn't help. No linen policy.
