“A very central granny pad”
+The only thing this property has going for it is the amazingly central location. Bars, train station, ferry dock, beach, restaurants - all within a few minutes walk.
−- the towels provided by the property were tiny, the shower gel scarce - the single beds were too hard, uncomfortable to sleep in - some parts of the property were clean while others not so much - layers of dust in corners, yellow streaks in toilet, shower not clean - the sofa was dirty albeit concealed by a cover - shutters in smaller room weren’t functional - propped up by a stick which meant the light entered the room at the crack of dawn - no air conditioning made the stay painfully hot at night (middle of August)

“Our Lierna week”
+Great location, good kitchen, the views, extremely comfortable beds and linen, the practicality of a washing machine and a drying rack, ample coffee supply, toaster and water kettle extremely useful.
−Except for the assistance in entering the house, there was a complete absence of communication, toilet seat cover needed repair that was not done although communicated to the gentleman in charge, the toilet bowl itself was yellow from calcification, clean but unsightly, no instructions at all as to what to do with the garbage.

“Very good”
+The location is great! We have visited a lot of villages around, and found that Lierna was by far the most charming one. Not a lot of tourists in the beginning of May, very nice cozy beach at the end of the village (dont walk on the road, take a pedestrian alley that starts near the train station). The apartment is super close to the supermarket, pizza places and the boat stop (Lecco-Bellagio). It is equipped with everything required and the views are amazing. The host was very helpful, check in and check out very comfortable, great communication
−Would be great to have a full size hanger for the clothes as the offered one is tiny and had to be put outside.

“Nice view and handy to train and boat”
+You can't ask for a better location in terms of being close to train station (50m of tarsealed road so very handy for suitcases on roller wheels getting off the train), maybe 200m from pier for the ferry, two cheap pizza places, bakery and mini-supermarket within 2-300m, lovely view of the lake from master bedroom balcony, stark but clean facilities. Owner/manager was responsive on whatsapp.
−There was a problem with a broken key for the external front gate lock when we arrived, should be easily fixed

+We enjoyed everything. The house is very well situated, next to the railway station amd to the lake, the view was amazing. The room was very clean and we had a good communication with Antonio.
