“Good location close to downtown”
+Good location. Glad that it is on the 2nd floor and not higher up. There is no elevator. Air conditioning unit is quiet. Comfortable beds and enough beds for 5 people.
−Need some hooks or towel bars in washroom to hand up face cloths and towels. Kitchen and washroom is separated from main living/sleeping areas and did not get air conditioning so it was unpleasant. Property is on a main street and sound insulation is bad. A lot of traffic noise came through the walls so it it noisy to sleep

“Comfortable for a larger family, but don't expect it to be more than sleeping.”
+This is a great stay for families. You can tell it's a converted hostel, so there are plenty of beds, and space to sit.
−The kitchen being outside of the main room was really strange, and when people are showering and using the toliet it's not the best when you're trying to make tea or coffee. Also it wasn't the cleanest. I dropped my water bottle top and it rolled under the bed, and its clear that the sides and under the bed are not really cleaned between guests. There was bubble wrap not from us under my bed.

“Wonderful location”
+The host is very friendly and is providing plenty of information and support! The appartement can be reached easily with buses. And there is a wonderful temple nearby. Also crossing the road there is a small Familymart and a public laundry available. Top!!
−Its on the 1st floor and there is no elevator. So for older people might be difficult to bring upstairs the luggage.

“Highly recommend to travelers and families. Very spacious and comfortable.”
+Great location! Very close to convenient stores (7-11 and another mart) where you can buy inexpensive, delicious food to heat up in the microwave in the home. It’s about two blocks away from the Kyoto Aquarium and a 15 minute walk away from Kyoto station. The property is well-stocked with convenient amenities such as free Wi-Fi, microwave, hairdryer, bath, products, dishes, and clean linens. The main room is very cool and comfortable, with a very ample air conditioner. The air conditioning was a welcome relief to the warm humidity. The property owner replies to your questions very quickly, and that was very helpful. We would definitely stay here again!
−Property was a bit dusty (room divider) but a quick wipe took care of it.
