−Unacceptable Cleanliness and Lack of Response I am writing to formally raise a complaint regarding my recent stay at your property. Unfortunately, my experience was extremely disappointing due to the poor condition of the apartment and the way the situation was handled. When we arrived, the apartment was in an unacceptable state of cleanliness. There were hairs all over the place including on the bed sheets which clearly had not been washed. The bedding also smelled strongly of cigarettes. The floor was filthy, and we had to clean the entire apartment ourselves just to make it liveable. In fact, we ended up purchasing new bedding sheets because we couldn’t use the ones provided. I contacted the host immediately, but it took three days to receive a response. Eventually, I was told a partial refund would be issued and was asked to provide my bank details, which I did. It has now been 13 days since that exchange, and I have received neither a refund nor any further communication. It is simply not acceptable to pay a significant amount of money to stay in a property that is clearly not maintained or cleaned between guests. I believe it is entirely reasonable to expect a clean and prope

+The bathroom and the sleeping room
−The sofa in the living room. There was only one pair of keys, there was no coffee capsules to start the next day, no salt and nothing to boil eggs in.

“Thanks, but...”
+The lady i spoke to was very respectful and helpful.
−The apartment i was meant to stay at was apparently left in a miserable condition by the previous atendees. The host decided to notify me about that at 20.45. Keep in mind, i told them i was checking in between 3 and 5 pm. What would've happened if i did check in in that time bracket we would never know? Maybe i would've found housekeepers on site that would've told me i would be unable to spend the night there. Because of my flight being late, i found out that i would need to relocate apartments right before boarding. The apartment offered as replacement was on the other side of the city, which meant a 35-40 min drive. And saying the conditions in that apartment weren't up to any standards would be an understatement - long hairs everywhere, mysterious stains on the bed linens, plugs pulled out of the walls, mold in the bathroom are just on the top of the list. I am beyond grateful that the hosts were good enough to grant me a place that eventually did the job, but that place was just the barest of bare minimums an accommodation provider can offer.
