“Good for a group”

“Lovely stay”
+The 2 of us had this house all to ourselves. We only used the 2 bedrooms on the ground floor, but there were multiple rooms upstairs as well. Lots of common space and a very nice kitchen, well equipped with dishes, pots and pans. There are air cons in the 2 bedrooms. A nice patio provides outdoor space to hang out and dry out dive gear/beach towels.
−It’s a little out of the town, but close the dive shop so everything worked out. No air con in the living room so it was a bit hot at night to hang out there, there is a fan though!

“Amazing villa with a quiet and sunny terraces and close to the beach”
+I absolutely loved staying at this villa! It’s huge, bright, and sunny, with a very quiet and peaceful territory , perfect for relaxing. The design and overall atmosphere are really great, making it a lovely place to spend time.
−The only minor downsides were Only one room open on on the first floor, even during the day, I had to keep the windows covered for privacy. Also, this room didn’t have a wardrobe, hangers, or hooks, so storing clothes was a bit tricky

+We were a little apprehensive about this property because it seemed a little too good to be true. However our fears were allayed as soon as we were greeted at the door by Gian. The house was huge! Clean, comfortable and well equipped. Good air con in the bedrooms and mosquito/fly screens on the balcony doors and windows. Lovely balconies to sit out on as well as a nice garden with eating area. The area felt safe and welcoming. The location was great and just a minutes walk from the beach and panagsama close by. Gian was especially wonderful and attentive. He responded quickly to every message and was at the house in minutes to speak in person if he thought that would be more useful. Gian also sorted lots of trips and activities for us a lot cheaper than we could find ourselves and genuinely tried really hard to make sure our stay was enjoyable. Rose also corresponded promptly. She sorted transfers from the port in Cebu city and also our onward transfer.
−I really don't think there is anything of significance. Maybe if the price was much higher, I may find fault in some of the things but on balance, I don't think you could get better.

“Very spacious and owner, Rose, communicated well with us.”
+We loved the space the villa provided and the quirky decoration. It had everything we needed and was about a 15/20 min walk into the centre with shops, restaurants and places to book activities.
−A little out of the way but we were happy to walk.

“Best place to stay in Maolbaol”
+Madam Rose and her right hand, Gian, took the absolute best care of us. Madam also helped us by arranging sardine run snorkeling, canyoneering, waterfalls excursion, private car pickup from airport and private car to take us to Oslob and whale shark watching. Anything we needed, they responded literally instantly. Even to call us tricycles to go to dinner in the evenings. The villa is huge (we only used 2 bedrooms out of 5) and the beds were comfortable, sheets clean, AC in the bedrooms, fully equipped kitchen, the works. We wish we could stay longer. We highly highly recommend this place to anyone, who wants to fully enjoy all of the amazing Maolbaol. No need to stress over anything, Madam and Gian will take care of everything. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU Also, special shout out to all the tour guides Madam Rose arranged for us.
