“Great host.”
+Communication with Mahmoud was excellent. He accommodated us despite having some booking issues on booking.com. The location was great only few minutes walking distance to the pyramids. The roof top was great.
−The picture of the breakfast on the website was misleading. The breakfast provided was still ok though (there was a packed croissant, jam, juice and biscuit).

“Mahmoud- The great host”
+Mamoud was an excellent host. He was available 24/7. Prior to arrival at the accommodation, communication was exceptional. He ensured that our stay was enjoyable. The kettle in the room was an add on for me since I am a heavy tea drinker. The place was only few minutes walking distance to the pyramids.
−Thank you for our stay. We would like to share a few suggestions that could make the accommodation more comfortable for future guests: The toilet had some stains on arrival. As we stayed for four nights, providing basic cleaning products would have been helpful. The breakfast picture was a little misleading, as the breakfast provided consisted of a croissant, jam, biscuits and juice. There were very few pictures of the actual room we stayed in on Booking.com. We therefore assumed that the other pictures displayed on the website were also of our room, but we later realised they showed different rooms from other apartments within the block. It would be helpful to have clearer pictures of each room/apartment to ensure guests know exactly what to expect. The furniture could be arranged more practically. Removing the chest of drawers and the decorative table would create space for a simple dining table with chairs, which would be much more useful, especially for guests ordering food. The pillows were a little too high. The bedroom with two single beds would benefit from a furniture with some shelves and hangers, as there was nowhere to organise our clothes. “Definitely not worth the money”
+The room and the bathroom were both very large and spacious.
−It is situated in a rundown, neglected area with a narrow entrance and no visible hotel signboard . The building itself is very old and lacked cleanliness. There was a unpleasant smell of horse dung outside. Additionally, the breakfast provided was of very poor quality, consisting only of dry items with no cooked or warm options. For the price charged, the overall quality and experience are completely unacceptable.

+Fantastic stay, thanks to a wonderful host! He was kind, always quick to respond, and took care of my every need. When I wanted a last-minute pyramid tour and a driver, he arranged everything with no hassle. He even made sure I got picked up safely after a festival that ended at 2 AM, which meant a lot. Very communicative and genuinely caring toward his guests. I'd happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Egypt!

+Excellent accommodation. Budget friendly. The staff were very polite and respectful. They had arranged a one day guided tour for Alexandria which was excellent. The driver and guide both were very nice. Since we had time available, we asked for additional places to visit in Alexandria. The driver took us to additional tourist spots and didn't demand extra money. Also they provided hassle free airport pick up and drop services.
