“Inexpensive but run down….”
+Location is the best asset for this property. WiFi worked well. TV allowed a range of foreign channels.
−As a few others have remarked, this place is in need of serious maintenance. Everything in it is incredibly old and/or literally falling apart. To start with the door to the apartment, that barely locks, to the window shutters that don’t fully close and are held up with makeshift hooks, to the state of the furniture that looks old and is barely kept together …to the bathtub that has lost all its veneer and is yellow, no shower curtain, so taking a shower is a challenge. No water coming out of the hot water faucet in the kitchen… and I could go on. Additionally, cleanliness level for kitchen items and bathroom left a lot to be desired… Previous reviews that are very positive and made me decide to try it out are no doubt due to the fact that this place is really inexpensive and that they used it just to crash at night. In all my travels I’ve never been in such a run down place, not even in much poorer countries….

+Spacious apartment in a really good location. Tourist information and buses and trams are just across the road. The metro station is less than a 2 minute walk away, also plenty of places to drink and have a bite to eat in the area. Great communication and information from the host too.

“Exceptional”
+I had an incredible stay at this spacious apartment in the heart of Budapest during the Sziget Festival! The apartment's large dimensions provided plenty of room to relax, and the facilities were top-notch, offering everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The magnificent balcony was a true highlight, perfect for enjoying morning coffee with a view. The location couldn't have been better, with countless cafes, bars, and restaurants just a short stroll away. The surrounding shopping areas and nearby monuments made exploring Budapest a breeze. Plus, the proximity to various means of transport, including the underground, buses, and trams, made getting around the city super convenient. A special thanks to our wonderful host Peter, who welcomed me so warmly and was incredibly helpful throughout my entire stay. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Budapest - it truly made my trip unforgettable!

“Cool place in the best location”
+Very cool place right in the centre of Budapest, at one of the main squares. I felt like visiting a friend, it’s not a sterile holiday rental, but a place of a real local. It might feel a bit dated, but to me 100% in a good way. I loved the building too, the impressive entrance and corridors clad in marble are wonderful. Peter, the owner, is a cool guy, who was flexible with check in and check out. Thanks a lot for letting me stay here!
