“A beautiful home in a magical place!”
+We love everything about this place! It was our second stay here and we'll certainly return again. Everything is furnished to a high standard and is spotlessly clean. Our absolute favourite thing is to sit by the huge window or out on the decking area, watching the light change, the clouds pass, the sun rise or set, the storms rolling in, or stargazing. It's a magical!

“Strongly recommended”
+The view from High Tor House was even better than we imagined before. It is very quiet and peaceful there. Ideally to unwind and relax. You go to bed with the sun, sleep very well and wake up wit the sun, It has good WiFi and TVs in the bedrooms and the living room. But this is the ideal place to log off and enjoy the real life. High Tor House is equipped with everything you need. A generous kitchen and dining room, there was nothing which we were missing. The laundry machine and tumbler are very useful as hiking nearby leads trough boggy terrain. This was my first time in Harris and I will definitely come back for another stay as I enjoyed it to so much.

“Spacious and comfortable house in lovely area”
+We had a great stay here. Everything met our expectations. A large living room with a great view, comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen and clean! You are grateful for such a sta lynif the weather turns bad. And Bryan was always responsive and helpful. Many thanks for having us !

“Beautiful, modern , spotless cottage. We would 100% book again.”
+The cottage was really modern & absolutely spotless, it had everything we needed. The decor is to an extremely high standard. There was plenty of space including a lovely separate area to read & relax. The view is amazing too. It was too cold for us to use the outside facilities but it was still beautiful to look at. The property manager was great, we had a couple of questions initially & he came back to us straight away with solutions.
−The only thing I would raise as an issue was the wifi, although it's not really an issue the owners can fix, as the whole island has this problem. The 4G signal was good though so we used that instead. We also did suggest to the property owner that a road safety mirror could be placed on the road opposite the cottage as unfortunately the cottage is on a fast road & the visibility isn't great when driving out of the drive.

“Perfect in every way.”
+We loved it! The house is beautiful and even more spacious than we expected. It was modern, clean, comfortable and stylish. We had everything we needed, and we were delighted with the generous extra welcome treats too. The location is ideal - only 10 minutes from the ferry. The views across the water are stunning. The weather was kind to us and so we sat out on the deck a lot - enjoying the sunrise in the morning, eating lunch, and even stargazing! We were there to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary, and it was perfect in every way. We hope to return again soon.
−There wasn't anything we didn't like. The only small thing to mention is that the Wifi is slow - however that wasn't a problem for us as the mobile 4G signal was really good.

+Absolutely amazing stay. The house was spotless and cozy. We loved the views and the fireplace! I usually get back pain when I sleep flat (on any bed!) and this bed was SO comfortable that it was the best sleep I have ever had on a vacation. Location is great - easy to access lots of trails, downtown Tarbert and Scalpay. We will be back!
