+Proximity to Ludlow town is good, nicely tucked away with pleasant neighbours.
−Sadly this wasn't a great stay. Unfortunately there was unavailable parking space on arrival, once your car moves the space is quickly taken. Circumstances had detained the usual ' welcome pack' /provisions which the host did apologise for, yet this left no milk, sugar, washing up liquid... vase of dead flowers. Not at all as expected. The weather at this time being classed as a heatwave, no relief for this with any provision or offer of a fan. Appreciate weather is in no ones control yet the lack of thought for extreme upstairs heat made it impossible to sleep. Very uncomfortable. I had booked this for My Mum who doesn't like to bother others for Hersef so I learned all too late how disappointing a choice this was. Communication was delayed from the host which again was apologised for but all in all if it could have gone wrong it did.

“A great place to stay that balances character with all the needs of the modern visitor.”
+A wonderful quiet and cosy haven that was full of character and very comfortable. Located close to the excellent Unicorn pub and easy walking distance into town with its many attractions, eateries etc this is a perfect retreat. Hosts really responsive and helpful. Small but perfectly formed kitchen had all we needed for cooking, comfortable lounge diner, good bed with quality bedding and a great shower in a well appointed bathroom.
−Nothing - we couldn't have asked for more!

“Lovely little cottage”
+A lovely little cottage and a great use of the space! The jam and crossiants on arrival were a lovely touch as well. Really accessible for the town centre which is just a short walk away. It was also great to be able to park right outside the property 🙂

“A perfectly formed tiny beamed, bijou , itsy bitsy cottage.”
+Such a lovely bijou cottage with original beams. Everything you needed was there and the host helpfully provided croissant butter and jam. Also lovely cut flowers on the table. It's a good location with a walk into town or you can go around towards the river and towards the back of the castle. It would be great if the owners could track down some of the history of the house from public records (free online) such as who was living there during census years but i am always fascinated by a cottage with history!! This house is about 500 years old I reckon.
−There's limited outside space but to be honest we were out and about most of the time. Outdoor chairs are provided under the stairs.
