“We enjoyed our stay but the hosts could put basics out such as tea coffee sugar and milk”
+Spacious, close to the centre and beach
−Some areas need decorating, large area of plaster missing on the landing. Stair carpet was stained and a bit off putting

“Wonderful property, lovely host, excellent location!”
+Very spacious, lots of seating for the whole group. Lots of crockery and glassware available. Big fridge and freezer for a large group’s food and drink, as well as plenty of oven space. Excellent location as a short walk to either the seafront or the town centre. Beds were very comfortable and it was great to have an en-suite in 4 out of the 5 rooms. Great quality linen/towels. Host was extremely responsive to any questions and couldn’t be more accommodating on our requests/queries.
−We really enjoyed our stay and the whole group commented on the comfort of the house - the only tiny negative was that the guests in one of the bedrooms couldn’t get their window open which was particularly tough during a heatwave!

“Lovely house in a great location”
+The property is in a great location, close to plenty of lovely little shops and 5 minute walk to the centre. The facilities were perfect, even left dishwasher tablets and washing tablets. The host provided everything we needed, and was able to accommodate an earlier check in and an extra parking permit for our stay.
−The property wasn’t cleaned as well as we would have expected, as the carpets definitely needed a good hoover. There were areas in the house where there was some slight damp and stained walls. Apart from that the house was perfect.

“Lovely place great owner would highly recommend”
+It was in a perfect spot for where we needed to be. It was clean and welcoming. Nothing was any bother for the owner great communication. We will deffo book here again.
−The only down side is that it's set out over 3 floors. Lots of stairs. Wouldn't put us off staying again though.

+A large property in a good location with enough bedrooms and bathrooms to accommodate the whole family
−The property was poorly presented and looked a little run down. there was rubbish and weeds in the front garden. The windows where filthy inside and out and layers of muck underneath the beds especially the bedroom on the second floor

“What a shame, great house and location badly in need of a very deep clean and repairs”
+The location was really good and there was plenty of space for everyone
−No access to private garden as advertised, no where to hang clothes in the green bedroom, the unit in the en-suite has a block of wood blue tacked to it for some bizarre reason. All the cupboards smelt fusty and damp. Some of door handles were loose with screws hanging out, one of the ovens didn’t actually work, the top floor bedroom didn’t have enough blinds to cover all the windows, broken glass and a dirty mug in the dishwasher on arrival and the filter hadn’t been cleaned. But the most shocking and disgusting thing we found was evidence of mice in the green bedroom. There was chewed up material under the bed, not sure if it’s the curtains or the underside of the bed. I’ve attached pictures of this, along with the blocked off gate to the rear private garden. I’m Expecting an apology from the owners of the property and an explanation for these issues.

“Definitely a Hidden Treasure”
+Enough rooms to house all of us and lots of chill out space too!
−No loo on the ground floor but doing the stairs prepped us for tackling the 199 steps up to the Abbey
