8.0“Lovely little space to be”
+Katie is absolutely lovely - very warm and welcoming and she's put her heart into making the experience a good one. The annex is spotlessly clean and comfy and has got everything you need and a lovely view to boot! (If you don't have everything you need - just ask Katie .. for instance I borrowed her potato masher!) The location for Box Village is perfect - just a 5 min walk down the hill to the 2 x cafes and the bus stops to Bath or Corsham (heads up for the walk back UP the hill on the way back!) It's literally right on the edge of Box Woods - which was an unexpected bonus for me, which gave an easy walk to many potential further walks - and road-free access to the fabulous Quarryman's Arms pub for more views, great beer, good food and (on the Saturday I was there) fab vibes watching the Bath rugby game (let's not mention the loss!)
−These are less 'things I didn't like' and more 'things to be aware of' - and in no way should put you off because it's a lovely place and good value too. Just things that either I'd have liked to be aware of or made me think of friends/family who would want things considered. If you're not used to an induction hob there are instructions in the Guest Welcome folder (I was VERY tired and hungry when I arrived and got a bit confused by the hob lock system!) The property is at the top of a fairly short but pretty steep hill (I have a friend with breathing issues who I know would have needed a couple of brief stops to make it to the top - still possible just be aware) Finally - one for the 'wide of thigh' people - I think modern architects must all be skinny because it's not the only place I've come across this - I'm a generously thighed size 12 and sitting on the loo my left thigh was touching the wall which isn't the end of the world - but for the 5 nights I was there it did niggle - and I wondered how that would be for my bigger friends and family.

10.0“Excellent! I would definitely stay here again.”
+I liked everything about the property; my stay was really lovely.
−The provision of soap and shampoo for the shower would be good; it's a minor point though.

10.0“Superb accommodation which was well equipped, comfy and clean.”
+Breakfast was not included. It was wonderful to receive such a warm welcome from Katie, the host. Her home made granola and bread rolls were such a treat. A wonderful location to explore Wiltshire and close to Bath and many National Trust properties.
−I cannot think of anything that could have made it better. It was perfect accommodation and a very well appointed apartment with magnifcient views from all windows. The apartment was well furnished, clean and spacious.

9.0“Great Host”
+Katie was a wonderful host. She was very ry accommodating when we changed our check in time. We arrived quite late in the night and it was very easy to reach her to help give us directions to the accommodation. It was very thoughtful of her to provide a fan considering the current heatwave. Loved that she did put in some homemade baked bread by her which where delicious and some healthy granola. The accommodation is beautifully decorated with a modern touch to it. Loved that she had some spices like salt and pepper which made it easier to make breakfast rather than going all the way out to get them from the shop. Loved the stunning view from the bedroom, kitchen and sitting room. The bed was very Comfortable. My partner and I had a good sleep. Her recomendation to go for some site seeing and a walk to the quarry woods made our morning. It was a breath of fresh air walking through the woods and the air coming from the quarry was refreshing to say the least. When we were ready to leave she went out of her way to come say good bye and wish is a safe journey back. I would definitely recommend staying over at her apartment to friends and would gladly come back again. Thanks Katie.
−The bedroom sockets weren't working which made us sleep in the sitting room, as the sockets were not functioning but once we told katie in the morning, she sorted it out immediately, as the fuse for the bedroom sockets triped off at the main fuse board.
