“Ok but could have been better”
+Quiet location
−The rooms have very worn and torn linen, the towels have seen better days, felt like they have salvaged old thrown out linen from a hotel or 2nd hand place.

“Excellent place... private and quiet!”
+The Hibiscus is located off the main road, this provides for a more relaxed and quiet stay. Our studio apartment was very spacious and provided for our stay"a perfect home away from home"..The pool is good and close, the grounds well kept. And of course the staff were awesome. This was our first time venturing to this side of Diani. Overall it was a great location I would definitely recommend it.
−We had an incident with a gash on the wife's leg caused by the paper dispenser in the wash room.. without sounding petty the breakfast was served on the hostel side..Saying that was just a tad awkward..some of them were outrightly racist and rude to my wife Chris. Christabel & Darcy hubick

“Great place”
+Quiet, serene, good AC, fresh towels everyday, daily garbage collection, facilities for games for adults
−Kids only have a shallow end for swimming and nothing else, WI-FI connection was very weak in the bedrooms and very intermittent

“Hidden gem in Diani”
+Staff were very welcoming and friendly especially Tina and Renson. Room is exactly as in the photos, if not better in real life. Unlike other reviews suggest, the hot water and AC worked completely fine!
−Needs one dedicated guard at the gate. Sometimes the guard would not be at the gate probably coz he's doing other work inside which would make us wait quite a bit before the gate was opened. But Tina was always very responsive on phone and always sorted it out whenever called

+The property is really beautiful and perfectly landscaped. The room was large and had a decent kitchen. The staff were really helpful. The AC was an added comfort especially with the Diani heat. Made ton of new friends in the hostel adjacent to the property.
−Breakfast was basic, I feel the fly management around the meal selection could be better. However the yoghurt was great!

+It was so spacious, beautiful and relaxing. The pools were great and it’s not crowded. Staff is very attentive and helpful.
−A bit of a walking distance to the beach.

“Good quality/price”
+The space, the distribution, the decorations, the kitchen appliances, the garden!, the swinging pool, the good morning birds songs)))
−Some mess about the check in, they weren't expecting us because it was a last minute booking... All was good there except: water not hot enough, nice body gel but no hand soap, no good coffee (Nescafé instantaneous), no peeling knife (only big ones), no trash bags!... the distance to the beach but it was expected;)
