“Insect nest”
+Location, location.
−When I went to enter the apartment (3:45 PM), the cleaning lady was just arriving. She asked me to wait. I entered the apartment 30 minutes later and saw that it hadn't been cleaned properly. I decided I'd make it two nights. When I woke up this morning, my hands and back were itchy. Bugs had bitten me everywhere. The next day, I was much worse. We had to use medication. When we checked, we saw the bugs. The bed is old and dirty. I saw insects and their nests underneath. Also, my food was stuck in the microwave. No matter what I did, I couldn't get it to open. I wrote to the facility about everything, but no one responded. They told me to leave the room at 10:30 AM. Check-in at 4:00 PM. What happened in the interim?

“Bad”
−No towels, only two blankets for three people, no response from the owner, not clean, bites from bedbugs the whole night, uncomfortable beds, broken window, someone tried to enter the apartment at 1:30am, unstable WiFi, no TV.

“Bad”
−Room was not cleaned when we checked in, there was only one towel and pillow when the room was booked for two people. Trash cans were not cleared and floor was dirty, bed was also not made as the blanket was messy. Staff was unsure of many things and had to check with the main host, causing delays in communication. We ended up booking another accomodation last minute and would like to request for a full refund for the room.

“Very poor”
+The studio is cozy, and the kitchen well-equipped.
−We found bed bugs and couldn’t reach the owner to help us find an alternative solution. I read a previous comment mentioning bed bugs, so the owners were probably aware of the issue. They said they would contact professionals to solve the problem, but I don’t think I’d stay there again. Also, Booking’s customer service was useless.

“Not value for money, just a cheap dump”
+Location
−No kitchen towels, wipes or tissues. Just one dish cloth, how do you clean the stove or bench tops?No hand or face towel, just a single bath towel. It is a converted basement storage/ski room in very poor condition
