“Best views and a comfortable place to stay.”
+It was very easy as they have a lock box. The bed was comfortable and good bedlinen. The view was outstanding one could never tire of it. The unit was well stocked with all you need.
−If you have impaired mobility this would not be for you. A very steep hill to drive up!

+The View was excellent, but everything else was well below par
−The access was impossible for us by foot and very difficult by vehicle. The driveway was very steep (at least 25 degrees) and included two hairpin bends! It is one way for all of the 60 meters (est) length. The access difficulty was further impaired by the workmen who were demolishing part of the interior of the building next door, parking their cars and trailers very close to the public access. On one day of our stay construction noise from next door was annoying. The interior of the unit was across 3-4 levels which made moving around the unit quite perilous for seniors especially during night hours. There was mould on the ironing board and in other areas and the dryer was not properly functional.

+Great views. Very well equipped. Clean and comfortable. Easy walk and cycle into Nelson. Handy bus stop at bottom of hill to go into Nelson or down the coast to the beach

+The views were stunning the furniture was lovely very comfortable. Great for anyone looking for a fabulous view and lovely furniture and facilities.
−I would avoid this property if you have mobility issues due to the distance of bathroom to the bedroom and the stairs up and down to it. Also avoid if you are noise sensitive as the sound proofing between the two units is very poor. 10 out of 10 for view and facilities though.

+Such a beautiful outlook from the apartment. Really well equipped. Walk to some good restaurants on the water front. Easy drive into town.

“Great to visit Nelson on our retirement trip, but property did not meet our safety expectations.”

−Unsafe steps within the appartments. Min tread on steps in Australia is 225mm, first tread down from bathroom was only 160mm wide, due to slipiness of stairs with high gloss varnish there was a Very high risk of falling. Access to the apartment up extremely steep road and driveway was not made clear in booking.com website, the drop off from road and driveway was unprotected. Noise from upstairs apartment, no soundproofing between appartments. bed was way too small. For the premium that we paid, we are very dissatisfied with the apartment and recommend rectification of stairs, guarding of drop off road and driveway, new larger bed, and more honest advertising on what is being offered to booking.com customers.
