7.0“Decent stay , great location”
+Good location , 5-10min walk away from the bus terminal & train station , good sized rooms , good kitchen equipment for basic home cooking , towels changed every couple days and rubbish taken away also
−The toilet & shower area don’t have any heating and are very cold/almost freezing during winter , might be ok during summer , beds could be slightly more comfy , however is personal preference

7.0“Budget stay for family with bathroom”
+The living room and upstairs bedrooms’ heater were warm enough. Living room can be quite small for 4 pax with luggages. Not much space to walk around without knocking into each other.
−There is no slippers provided in the house. The bathroom was freezing cold. We have to buy a pair of slippers to wear while bathing because the icy cold floor really hurt our feet. The upstairs bedrooms have no tables to put our phones and stuffs, we have to put everything on the floor near the beds. The floor above the stairs is creaking so loudly that every time someone walk over, it can be quite noisy.

8.0“Exceeded expectations!”
+Great location for a ski trip to Hakuba - only a short walk to both the train station and bus terminal. Beds were comfy after a long day skiing and everything worked really well. Short walking distance to plenty of good restaurants too!

2.0“Strange hospitality. Uncomfortable toilet & shower rooms.”
+Location was great. Within walking distance to Happo One, Lawson, A Coop, & train station.
−It could be very uncomfortable if you come during the winter time as the toilet & shower rooms, though conveniently separated, are located outside of the main living area and are non heated. I also felt that the cabin caretaker operated with an attitude. We're a family of 4 and stayed for 4 nights. When I asked for a new kitchen tissue paper roll (kitchen towels or facial tissues were not provided.), I was told to 'go buy it myself' if I wanted to use more than provided! It was to be used to help keep the kitchen & utensils clean! Our family has traveled extensively and never before have we encountered a stranger hospitality. Once is enough.
