“Great place with splendid views but I would not stay there again.”
+The property is in the 7 coloured earth park itself and has wonderful views. However access is via a parallel concrete tracks for what feels like ages. In fact a taxi driver refused to take us there and so this made our arrival rather stressful. The host did not offer any help except « see you there ». Not sure this is how I would have handed it.
−A 9am checkout is absurd. Would have preferred not to experience this. Especially if staff show up at 0830 and start to clean the kitchen while you’re still packing. This does not sound like luxury at all. More like money grabbing and packing in as many bookings as possible. Breakfast was terribly inadequate and 100% self service - with white toast bread (yuck), weetabix, milk and orange juice and jam. Plus eggs. The cherry is that I also injured my foot on a sharp tile (around the fireplace) but was told I was the fist one in xx years. Terribly helpful comment, I thought. If you’re looking for service and customer care, don’t go there.

“A little slice of paradise in Mauritius that we’d highly recommend and would love to return to!”
+We spent two lovely nights at Green Cottage - Muesanda and wished we could have stayed longer! The villa is beautifully designed and full of character, set among gorgeous tropical gardens with peaceful walking paths and a lovely swimming pool. It’s a wonderful place to unwind, yet perfectly located for exploring Chamarel and the surrounding national park. Raymond’s warm hospitality made our stay even more special.

“Beautiful and peaceful stay in stylish villas and genuinely warm hospitality from Raymond - a real hidden gem in Maurit”
+We had such a lovely stay at Green Cottage - the Tree Fern Cottage for two nights . Raymond, our host, welcomed us personally and even surprised us with a thoughtful gift and some essentials to help us settle in, which was a really nice touch. The villas are beautiful, tastefully decorated and very comfortable. The surroundings are so peaceful and quiet, making it the perfect place to relax and unwind.

+Perfect place. Very humble and helpful owner and staffs. Plants and flowers everywhere and very well maintained.
−It's not a complaint but just a small suggestion that it would be nice if the check out time could be moved to atleast 10 am-11am instead of 9am. Some people come to relax and they would like to comfortably wake up, have their breakfast, maybe use the swimming pool for some time and then check out.

“We Could Have Stayed All Week!”
+We spent 2 nights at Green Cottage Chamarel - the Tree Fern House - with my husband and our child, and we had such a lovely stay. The view is absolutely beautiful , honestly, it might be one of the best in Chamarel. The house is very comfortable, spacious and really well equipped with everything you could need. What you see in the photos is exactly what you get. We only stayed for 2 nights, but we could easily have spent a whole week there. The host was also very welcoming and made us feel at home from the moment we arrived, which made the stay even more special. It’s such a peaceful and relaxing place, perfect for enjoying Chamarel and slowing down for a few days. We would definitely come back and would happily recommend it!
