“Excellent, outstanding, amazing host, great value, great location, would highly recommend this property”
+The house was spacious and beautiful. I especially loved the largest bedroom with two lovely double beds and still loads of space left over. It came in very handy. The kitchen was also beautiful. There was a lovely little garden in the back and also a cellar for storage. The landlord was absolutely lovely, very helpful, accommodating, understanding, let us book the property at the last minute and extended our stay when we needed to as well.
−Car parking was difficult if we needed to pop out in the evenings. When we came home straight from work there were always spaces near the house which was fantastic. However, when we had to go out in the evenings we would need to park a bit far away and walk back home. However, the landlord provided us with permits so we had free car parking and we could use all parking areas marked ‘G’ which covered actually a lot of streets so we could always find a space.

−Not clean. Shower head kept falling off and shower tray over flowed. Only stayed one night.

+Check-in and check-out were smooth and straightforward. The accommodation is spacious and well laid out. Downstairs features a comfortable living room with an open-plan dining area, a TV, a cooling fan, and a convenient downstairs toilet. The kitchen is compact but charming, equipped with all the basic essentials. Upstairs, there are two bedrooms: one with a large bed, wardrobe, and bedside lamp; the second has two generously sized beds. All the beds were neatly made with fresh towels provided, and they were very comfortable. There's a full bathroom with a walk-in shower, toilet, large bathroom sink with mirror, and a separate bathtub with a shower overhead. The house was clean overall, though a quick hoovering could make it feel even fresher.
−The walk-in shower is on the smaller side, and the showerhead is held in place with a cable tie, which makes it a bit tricky to adjust. Some of the plumbing could use a little maintenance , the bathroom sink drains quite slowly, the toilet sometimes needs a couple of flushes, and the showerhead over the bathtub doesn’t stay securely in place and doesn’t run as smoothly as expected. It would have been helpful to have small bins in the upstairs rooms,l or bathroom as there was only one located in the kitchen.

“DONT DO IT”

−As soon as we walked in the door we wanted to walk out. The place was absolutely filthy. No way would we sleep in the beds. 1 towel provided. Garden was full of rubbish and full of weeds. Bin was overflowing with rubbish bags and had obviously not been emptied for a long time. Shower was disgusting. Layers of dust everywhere. Broken wardrobe which was dangerous. Broken diningroom chair. Beds did not look like they had been changed. Carpets and walls, light switches and plugs all dirty and grubby. We left after 15 mins and are claiming a refund. There is no parking nearby. All badge holders. DO NOT BOOK this accommodation

+Great nice and close to the station, close to our son that we were there to visit, rooms were good size, kitchen was well equip, lounge was super warm always..
−Parking wasn’t a easy thing, had to pay for parking, there was a resident permit but it only covered one day,

“A pleasant stay, a bit more attention to detail needed to elevate it.”
+The kitchen is very nice and well equipped. Good TV with all the usual streaming services. The host is very responsive and friendly.
−The overall presentation of the property could have been a bit better, and some of the facilities listed as being present on the Booking.com website were not there.
