“Great property with access to Windermere and local amenities if you have transport x”
−The central heating timer seemed to have 3 time lag, as it came on in the middle of the night, and at off times, not specified. Otherwise, that property was great. I have limited mobility, so was expecting the staircase to upper lounge, and from the Airbnb pictures on the website, was also expecting l downward steps to the property. It turns out that ingress to the property was flat, and the steps lead to an elevated patio to the rear, which was a positive. Otherwise, the property is lovely, and met our needs well, thank you x

“Extremely comfortable and well located property.”
+Quiet location and convenient for Windermere and Ambleside. Easy parking and nice layout of property with lounge upstairs. Well equipped and very comfortable. Would definitely recommend. .
−A mat for the shower would be useful but otherwise all excellent.

+The place was very well located and spacious. It was easy to find the key and it was clean. The basics were there and lots of leaflets were also given about activities in the area which we really appreciated.
−Unfortunately the bed wasn't very comfortable for me, a bit lumpy and too oft, but my partner slept well.

“Relaxing with beautiful scenery. Windermere very crowded.”
+Nice quiet location
−Property had electricity turned off and road closed on the first day of our stay. The electricity was off for more than 1.5 hours. (a planned upgrade) We were not informed of this. My husband had to have a cold shower because of lack of warning. Neighbours told us they all had a letter,

+Fantastic layout with lovely, spacious lounge. Very comfy bed. Excellent facilities in the kitchen. Great location, ideal spot for exploring. Every detail has been thought about. We will definitely return.

“Lovely break in a lovely location in a lovely cottage”
+The location was excellent and the cottage itself was perfect
−Sadly the property opposite had an annoying outside sensor light which kept coming on and off. The curtains/blinds in the bedroom were not blackout type and thus didn’t stop the light opposite from annoying us.

“I lovely location and cosy accomodation.”

−Bathroom did not have a good shower, Water temperature was erratic in the shower . It was good elsewhere in the cottage but we could not get shower to operate correctly and it was mostly cold , switching to hot and then back to cold over the days we stayed. Still enjoyed our break though. Heating and kitchen water was fine.
