“Clean, convenient & pretty, perfect hub to explore Edinburgh.”
+Location is amazing. It’s in a really great part of the city, away from the hustle of peak tourist season (august) very good cafes, bars and restaurants in walking distance. Also close to Arthur’s seat and Holyrood. The place was very clean and comfortable, host was very attentive.
−I do want to mention it’s a bit damp down there, it is a garden level flat. There can be a bit of a dank aroma to it but airing it out every few days helped a lot. However, it did not stop us from enjoying our stay.

“Very comfortable with a good bed and facilities in a great location close to Holyrood.”
−Kitchen was a little musty and damp but it didn't matter and did not affect the rest of the flat, I think it's a bit of an Edinburgh thing in these thick stone-built buildings. Don't be put off, the flat is very comfy.

“This lovely flat is a perfect base for personalised Edinburgh stay”
+To have the use of a whole flat so close to town centre was great. Buses to Edinburgh centre/station on the doorstep, or only a 25min walk. Local shops and a good pub, restaurants galore on Leith Walk . Having your own bit of garden was great. Flat is thoughtfully decorated with personal touches which make a very welcome change from the corporate feel of most apartment holiday lets. Janeanne was good on communication and info. Kitchen and bathroom stocked with basics and kitchen well supplied with cooking kit if wanted. very comfy bed and had excellent night's sleep. Would definitely stay there again.
−Nothing. Be aware that you can hear the upstairs neighbours sometimes - living room only.

“A quiet and cosy little flat, absolutely perfect for those looking for a private home base”
+Such a lovely little flat, perfect for me as a solo traveller and first-time visitor to Edinburgh! The location is on a main bus route, so getting to and from local attractions is an absolute breeze, and there are a variety of shops nearby for supplies if you’d like to cook onsite. The flat is below street level in a larger building, which opens up into a quiet shared backyard, so feels very private. Janeanne is a wonderful host and explained the check-in and -out procedure ahead of time, and gave some great suggestions for what to do in the area :)
−At times, the neighbours upstairs could be a little noisy in the afternoon, but this isn’t a problem if you’re out exploring and the noise always died down before bedtime. Those visiting with large suitcases or who have mobility needs should be aware that the flat is down a narrow flight of internal stairs. As it is below ground level, at times it can smell a little musty if not aired regularly, but never to an intolerable degree.

+Netter Garten bei schönem Wetter.
−Bett in einem engen Raum von einer Seite kaum zugänglich. Steckdosen rar. Ziemlich dunkler Souterrain. Also besser fotografiert als die Realität hergibt.

“Dejligt sted at have som base når man vil udforske Edinburgh.”
+Det var meget hyggeligt og godt udstyret med alt man havde brug for. Vi fik te og kaffe og shortbread og mælk da vi ankom. Lejligheden var rigtig stor og hyggeligt indrettet. Janeanne var nem at komme i kontakt med og meget imødekommende Området var dejligt og lidt op af vejen lå der en helsekostforretning, et supermarkedet og en bager og et lille café
−Vi havde problemer at sætte soveværelsetvinduet på klem og vi manglede beskrivelsen af ovnen da man ikke længere kan se hvilken indstilling man bruger.
