“Excellent , enjoyable stay as usual”
+We have been staying at The Fox Inn for a number of years and have always found it excellent accommodation. We always stay in either of the ground floor chalets which are dog friendly and ideal if you have a dog as you have your own private small garden. The rooms are large and airy with French doors to patio/garden. Small kitchenette with fridge/microwave/kettle /small hob and sink perfect for making your own breakfast. The bed is large and comfortable and the bathrooms are roomy. The owners are very friendly and helpful and so are all the Fox Inn staff. The pub next to chalets serves excellent food and is very popular - advise you book ahead especially at weekends
−There is nothing to dislike - you can’t always park outside chalets but it is easy to park just up the road

+Nice quiet location. We needed 3 rooms for a visit to a family wedding so the Fox facilities were spot on. Rooms well appointed. Liked the little kitchenette & fridge. Two of three rooms had private gardens with outdoor furniture. Access using key box was very easy. Comms from Barbara were very timely & clear. Would stay again. Thank you!
−WiFi a little temperamental at times. Would have appreciated an option of a firmer pillow. I'm being picky.

“We enjoyed our stay”
+The location was good and having the pub next door was helpful. The room, bed, linen and garden facilities were good.
−The kitchen facilities were diffcult with little space to manoeuvre. Althoughtthere were 3 appliances there was only 1 plug. Also in the bathroom there wasn't anywhere to charge your toothbrush and just a small table to accommodate all toiletries.

“Nice location but poorly maintained.”
+Good location. Great pub next door for dining with very helpful staff.
−Property poorly maintained. Front door hard to open, loudly scraping the floor. Reported on first day but nothing done. One of the patio doors extremely difficult to close. Outdoor decking very shabby, dirty and felt insecure. Window latch in bathroom not properly secured. Room very hot at night with only a small table fan provided.

“Wonderful and relaxing, lovely staff would definitely stay again.”
+The property was very clean, and of a good standard. A comfortable bed and nice big bathroom. It has a decent garden ideal for taking dog away. The pub serves excellent food and the staff are wonderful. The owner checked in to check all ok and explained bbq removed due to the wild fires which is understandable. We had taken bbq food with us which she kindly said the pub would cook for us. Location is excellent and very quiet, very easy to get to Southwold, Minsmere, Orford, Thorpeness and Aldeburgh which we managed during our stay.
−Overall not much to fault, if picky would suggest a parasol and cushions for garden furniture as it was a sun trap.

“Comfortable and a great location”
+The property was comfortable, nicely decorated and it was lovely to open the doors onto the decking and garden. We enjoyed a meal at the pub and the staff were very friendly.

+Great service to contact customers prior to visiting. Helpful. The accommodation is fab and the pub really lovely and friendly. The location is great to move around the area to different towns. The only slight challenge was for us, that the car park was full only once when we were there but it was difficult to find a suitable alternative parking space. But anyway, we would like to go again, we had a great time. Thanks.
