2.0“Disappointing & definately not what we expected. We will not be returning. We did not like the stay”
+The chiminea fire outdoor was nice, as was the hot water in the shower.
−The "exceptional breakfast" noted in the booking.com information was poor. A loaf of bread from a supermarket, and some fritatta was considered to be sufficient for a two day stay. It wasn't sufficient for even one person for a day. Having almost all amenities outside in an undercover area was not nice, especially on freezing cold mornings. Having to make cups of teas when it was 2 degrees outside was not nice. Not having face to face contact with Kate during the entire stay was not good, only sms comms was available. When we had questions after 5pm on friday, our questions were either not responded to in a timely manner, or we received caustic responses. Kate really needs to undertake hospitality training, and treat her customers kindly and with respect, otherwise she wont have many repeat customers...! Spending $250 a night for two nights (e.g. $500) is a rort! This is nowhere near a B&B in the traditional sense. We would have preferred driving through heathcote and staying in a much better appointed hotel in Bendigo.

10.0“We could see the effort Kate put into our stay, would highly recommend.”
+Kate's attention to detail was amazing. I felt like she had wrapped her arms around us and we were totally looked after. Fridge was so well stocked, plus a handmade frittata, we didn't want for anything. Location was fantastic on the main street (noise was not a problem as the room is behind the house), and we were able to walk to everything in town. Great pizza shop across the road too! We loved the alfresco kitchen/dining/lounge area. We love being outdoors, we love chooks, and we love a good fireplace. It was very warm and had a lovely homely touch to it. Not sure how that goes in winter, but for early spring it was totally fine.
−nothing.

10.0“Fergusons Store”
+The accomodation was lovel and historic. Very cute and comfortable. We loved all the vintage items around the property and the chooks! The breakfast was amazing and the fire chiminee was so cosy on a Winter's night. Great location as we walked into town for dinner. Our host Kate was so friendly and accommodating. We really felt at home. We will definitely return.

4.0“Great position and would recommend in the warmer months”
+Great position and comfortable bed
−Bedroom v small and description of space is inaccurate as the kitchen and sitting area are outside so would be great in summer but v cold in winter. Bathroom also v cold in winter
