“Wonderful stay!!”
+We loved a lot about it. The views were incredible, the location was great, accessible to many other areas in the lake district. We enjoyed the pool, hot tub, playing chess, mini golf and Frisbee Golf. The room itself and the bathroom was spacious, we didn't need to use it to much throughout the day as we were always out but for the four of us and the ages of our children (8 &9) it was just right. The welcome pack we received was so lovely with tea, coffee, tea towel and dishwasher tablets etc. Was very helpful to have. We had great communication from both the owners and the staff in the complex and they were all very helpful. The swimming pool was amazing for our kids and had it been worse weather we would of made use of the games room, cinema and kids area more as it was a lovely space for children.
−There isn't anything we didn't really like, just personally preference or maybe just a few things that could possibly be added or altered. We loved everything that was provided in the room/kitchen but thought maybe they could of had extra plates, bowls, cutlery etc as we had to put the dishwasher on every night as we had only one of everything for a family of four. We don't mind washing up but the kitchen unit is small, making it harder to cook and wash up everything. (Again this is not a negative as we really liked the room and were grateful for what was given) Couldn't seem to find the dvd remote so was tricky to work it. We only used it the last night so it wasn't a big deal. The restaurant was very expensive (nothing the owners of the room can do about this) but we had such an amazing price for the room/stay and unfortunately the restaurant was very pricey, it's not something we could afford or felt comfortable to pay.

“A fabulous stay and will book again”
+Location perfect for tourist spots, great facilities, nice touches in room eg: coffee, milk, dish washer tablets Games room and restaurant were lovely
−Should be told in advance that sofa bed wouldn’t be made prior to arrival to save me having to come to reception and ask Pool was cold

+We had a delightful stay at the hotel and are eagerly anticipating our next visit in the future. Amazing location and really helpful host. Best Part - Kids enjoyed all the outdoor activities and the swimming pool!
−We felt that there is an opportunity to enhance the dining experience, particularly concerning the availability and flavor of the food. Given the diverse backgrounds of the guests at the lodge, incorporating a wider variety of cuisines and offering an à la carte menu would truly elevate the overall experience. Such improvements would undoubtedly be the icing on the cake for our future stays. Unfortunately, had to check out a day earlier than booked due to dining experience.

“The comfort and convenience of having all the facilities was very much needed for a break, especially as we took part in”
+It was clean and had everything we needed. The bed was one of the most comfortable beds we have ever slept in including the bedding being very cosy and not too hot or cold. The positioning of the tv/ bed, dining area and kitchen being appropriately laid out, leaving perfectly to the balcony. The second window by the bed made it very light offering views of the gorgeous grounds surrounding the area. The kitchen was well equipped with the crockery and other bits included to make our stay convenient, should we need to cater for ourselves or not xx

+The location was amazing. The facilities were very good.
−However the rooms were a bit dated. The room did not had an oven as mentioned. The tiles were broken in the bathroom. The balcony offered really good views but was dirty and had cobwebs.
