“A wonderful place to stay in a vibrant neighborhood close to everything. The studio was comfy and inviting. I recommend”
+Wonderful studio walk up on a quiet one way street mainly pedestrian locals and students and feels safe and is well lighted. Well finished old building and studio is just right. Great artwork gives the feeling of visiting a friend’s home. Great location with nearby restaurants for every taste. And nearby metro. Host is very helpful and explains the interesting ancient locking system for the door. WiFi keeps you connected. The studio was clean with everything needed. Comfy and inviting. A much more fun place to stay than hotels. A great base to explore Madrid. Easy walk to El Prado. Highly recommended.
−No issues. Exceeded expectations.

“Good location but crowded space”
+Franciscia was helpful and attentive. The location made it easy to see Madrid.
−There was hardly enough hot water for one person. If I needed to wash my hair, I had to turn the water off, scrub my head and rinse quickly so I could continue to wash my body in warm water.

“Very disappointing experience”
−I don’t usually leave negative reviews, but unfortunately this experience left me very disappointed. The initial communication with the host was good and everything seemed fine at first. During our stay, we started experiencing severe itching and multiple bites. At the time, we did not think it was bed bugs and even considered that it might be an allergic reaction. After returning home, we found a bed bug inside one of our shoes. At that point, it became clear what had likely caused the severe itching and numerous bites during our stay. We decided to check out one day earlier and moved to another accommodation for our last night because we no longer felt comfortable staying there. After checking out, we read a review from previous guests mentioning a similar issue, which raised additional concerns. This situation caused us significant stress and discomfort. We are now worried about the possibility of having brought bed bugs home in our luggage, which has added further anxiety after the stay. Cleanliness and guest safety are extremely important when choosing accommodation, and unfortunately this experience did not meet our expectations.
