“An amazing place to stay and explore the mountains and surrounding areas.”
+My husband and I have had an amazing stay at Esperanza 9. Esperanza 9 is a wonderful place to stay and perfect for exploring Moclin and the surrounding areas. The accommodation feels luxurious with rooftop terrace and a beautifully designed pool, but it also feels very cosy and comfortable with some amazing views from the rooftop terrace. We enjoyed dinner on the rooftop every evening and it was easy and enjoyable using the kitchen which has all the essential equipment. The whole property was very clean and perfect in every aspect. Feel sad leaving, but will hopefully be back sometime.

“Excellent for a tranquil and relaxing low season stay in a beutiful area.”
+Good centre for hiking. The apartment is well appointed and attractive and spacious enough for 4 adults. Very comfortable bed and good quality bedding. A very generous welcome pack was provided by the owner and the kitchen facilities are excellent for self-catering. Generous outside space for sunbathing and dining. The owners’ website is very useful and informative.
−The property is excellent but it is worth noting that it would be useful to bring provisions from one of the nearby large Mercadona supermarkets as opportunities to eat out are limited on some evenings, particularly at low season I expect.

“Perfect, peaceful week”
+Location was lovely, apartment very stylish with everything you would need. Small spanish village, with bars and friendly locals. Good for walking and exploring. Also within easy reach of Granada, Frigiliana, nerja town and beaches, to mention a few we enjoyed.

+A Magical Stay in Moclin - A Hidden Gem in Rural Andalusia We had the absolute pleasure of staying at Esperanza 9 in the beautiful village of Moclin, and it truly exceeded our expectations. The property has been lovingly and tastefully restored,spotlessly clean, modern, and extremely comfortable. The beds were especially cozy, the apartment was well-equipped with everything we needed, and the views from the terrace were nothing short of breathtaking. Watching the sun rise and set over the olive groves and the Sierra Nevada was a daily highlight. The plunge pool was a real treat, especially during the warmer days,it made cooling off after a hike feel like pure luxury. Our hosts, Andrew and Ian, were incredibly welcoming and helpful. They provided lots of useful information about local supermarkets, tourist attractions, and great places to eat. They’ve also created a wonderful blog about the local area, which we found really insightful for planning our days. One of the best parts of our stay was walking the Ruta del Gollizno each morning. It’s an unforgettable trail with stunning natural scenery, rich wildlife, and panoramic views of the surrounding countryside,absolutely magical. Th
