“A wonderful escape from the city in the city”
+The location is ideal as it is in a high security guarded housing complex so one is free to take an evening walk if they so please. Escape also a very homely feel.The pool and the jacuzzi were an added bonus. The hostess was very accommodating and helpful.

“VERY HOMELY AND GOOD FOR FAMILY WITH KIDS”
+I loved everything about Escappe starting from the host, to the house and location. Escape is near to some some fine restaurants and shopping malls ausch as Menlyn Maine. The house has a washing machine, pool and jacuzzi and it is loacted a guarded community so for those that love running or taking a walk, this is your place. Escape most certainly gave us a homely feeling. For this reason we ended up extending our stay an extra 2 days at Escape!

“Extremely Dissapointing and Not Worth the Money”
+The location is fairly close to most things, like the hospital, restaurants, grocery stores, gas station, etc.
−We actually feel scammed with this booking. Upon rechecking reviews, it seems like the same complaints are made over and over again, and I think it's fair to assume that if they are still not fixed, no one is planning on fixing them any time soon. The jacuzzi doesn't heat up, so it could never be used. The WiFi doesn't work (I checked; signal is blocked by buildings, trees, etc., so connectivity is intermittent - think 90s buffering and then disconnecting). If you need to get any work done, you're going to be in BIG trouble. Because of the WiFi, the "Smart" TV doesn't work either. It's clear that the place is in a general state of neglect, and cleaning is merely superficial. We even had the pleasure of finding a broken cigarette in the cutlery drawer (none of us smoke). I had a bedside lamp with absolutely no possible way of connecting to electricity. We also used to live in this area, so we're well aware of what happens there: it's only safe with the proper precautions. We got stuck with flimsy gates and doors that can easily be broken into without you even realizing until it's too late, and the alarm is also not working. “Our stay at Escape was extremely wonderful, secure, quet, beautiful and clean”
+We made our own breakfast it was great we got everything that we needed to prepare ourselves a breakfast and it was easy to get to the location and the place where it's located it's in a safe area
−Everything was perfect and even more than what I expected, we got everything we needed in house we felt at home. We also like the fact that we had all the house to ourselves. The owner she's very kind, loving and welcoming made us feel free and enjoy our stay. She makes sure that we don't struggle with anything.

“Never stayed booked at The Blyde,where we were met with respect”
+Host and husband was racist i dont know why your blocking my review this is the third time i am writing this, said we not allowed a portable speaker, referred to us as you people are going to bring loud taxis to the property
−The host put her hands on one of the guests, was very rude and unprofessional said kids are supposed to be under 16 so i asked her why does bookings.com allow you select aged 16 then, the website said quiet time is from 10pm. I see another woman complained here the host was racist. We experienced the same thing, her and her husbands behaviour was disgusting and disappointing, i tried to reason with her but she wanted to dominate the conversation and scream and shout to get her point across
