+Very good value for money! Host seems very friendly. Large space. Aircon was good and tv had Netflix
−A little bit of a walk from centre Shkoder. The washing machine seemed like it hadn’t been used in a long time. Washing powder was dried up inside powder insert.

“Great location to explore Schkoder :)”
+The apartment was exactly as the pictures. The locations is great, close to the local market where you can get fresh fish, cheese, fruits and veggies. You also have 2 SPAR supermarkets to get the other groceries. 15 min walk to the pedestrian street full of restaurants and cafes. We recommend you rent a bike and explore the castle and to go to the closest town Shiroke. From the apartment very easy to find the bike rental stores.

“Nice place but almost impossible to find”
+The apartment itself is quite nice, with a lovely outlook through trees to the mountains. It has a functional kitchen, quite well fitted out, and a pleasant dining/work area. The bed was comfortable enough (though a bit short, and the sheets not the best). Internet worked for 2 of the 5 days I was there (but I gather that sketchy internet is not unusual in Shkoder). Lots of fresh produce sellers and market nearby.
−Location is about 15 minutes north of the centre, and nowhere nearby to eat (not open, anyway). But the biggest problem was finding the place - the address given is just a street name, and the apartment has no number or any indication of its identity. The owner sent a number of photos, but it was only with the help of a very nice young man from a nearby coffee shop, who got onto the owner with a video WhatsApp call, that I was able to find it at all. The owner didn’t have a very good attitude about it, either. (I didn’t ever get to meet her - she sent her brother to collect payment, but only because I refused to leave the money in the lockbox.)
