10.0“Warm bright house with river view”
+Very warm, heaters in when we arrived, lots of blankets on beds, sun streaming on when sunny. Great communication from owners via messaging. Awesome location near the Gorge, cafes - all the shops within a couple of mins drive. Really pretty gardens and sweet areas to sit or wander.
−I liked it all! I would note if you have a chronic illness/disability, there are a lot of steps to enter (Trevallyn is a hilly area) and some parts of the house are not quite level; if you have vertigo that's not ideal. Not negative about the house, just practicalities for specific needs

10.0“Beautiful stay at Eileen’s!!”
+Parked on the road , Walked up through a gate and up a path lined with lovely plants to a lock box to open the sliding door and all I can say is wow, the pictures don’t do it justice. Such a beautifully decorated , spacious but cosy and lovely house. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay with the kids. Well stocked fire ready to go and plenty of wood. Kitchen had Coffee pods, cleaning supplies and few spices and oil, dishwasher tabs, chess and games and great books for the kids. Nice walk to shops out the back and great location to everything we wanted, winery’s ( highly recommend velos cab sauv) Launceston, Ben Lomond, cataract gorge , Beaconsfield and the airport. Hosts were very helpful.
−Lamp in the snug room had no lightbulb, kids love to read at night but that was it and property is near a busy road but still enjoyed the view and wasn’t a bother for us at all :)

10.0“A beautiful home, with lots of comfort and a great woodstove!”
+Very nicely furnished and the bedrooms were lovely and very comfortable. We loved having the woodstove and the gramophone with record collection, which has such a rich sound! Made me feel like dancing. It'[s very handy for everything as long as you have a car. A beautiful garden which would be lovely to sit in in summertime or for kids to play. Very thoughtful hosts in all the little touches. We liked to sit by the large bay window. The bathroom with bathtub was huge and plenty of towels. I particularly loved the book collection to flick through.
−Nothing was wrong but there are a couple of hints for hosting travellers in winter which will make it just perfect. We arrived in the dark and thought that a light over the path would have helped us to see our way, as it was very steep. Due to an oversight, there was no kindling or any means of getting the fire going so we had to forage the next day, but luckily there were plenty of small sticks around the garden and no shortage of logs once it got going.

10.0+The house was homey and had little extras we weren't expecting. The view was great and the location convenient, just a short walk to Cataract Gorge and just a little further to town. Hosts were friendly and helpful. We would love to come and stay again.
−We couldn't find a working lighter to light the fire. It would've been nice to have shower gel provided, so we donated ours for the next visitor.
