+It was clean and the bathroom & kitchen recently modernised
−Sleeping in bed linen that was 70% polyester was most uncomfortable. Pedestrians passing by were noisy until 1am on both Friday & Saturday nights.

“Lovely property with good facilities near town centre”
+The decor was lovely. Very comfortable for 4. Lots of kitchen equipment. Nice bathroom. Good modern feel.
−Parking was very difficult - street parking with no spaces available. For two couples, it would have been better if we had chosen a property with two bathrooms rather than Eden Cottage which had one bathroom and a downstairs toilet. No hooks in bathroom for towels.

“Would be perfect but for points listed”
+Excellent location. Very spacious, well decorated and clean. Lovely garden. Plenty of plates, pans etc. .
−Busy road so difficult to sleep at the front which had the largest bed. Would be much improved with secondary glazing.Quiet at the back but smaller bed. Beds fairly firm. Walk in shower was a good size (not a fan of shower curtains) but very slippery could benefit from a non slip shower mat. Important to note need to bring shower gel and shampoo although hand soap is provided. Sofas very low and soft needed to use lots of cushions to make them more comfortable. Stairs are steep not suitable for guests with mobility issues.

“Summer break in Whitstable”
+We have stayed here previously and really enjoyed our time here. Great location not too far from the beach and just a 5 min walk to the high street.The house itself is warm and welcoming with enough space for us (2 adults and 3 kids).Nice seating area at the back of the garden. We would stay here again.

−Very minor, but my husband who likes to cook said the kitchen knives could be sharpened. But the kitchen was very equipped compared to a lot of rentals

+It’s a great house in a wonderful location and very clean. We felt right at home!
−Because we were there in a very hot week, we soon found out that is was pretty hard to keep the house cool. The sofas and garden table could do with an update, but it was a luxury to have them.

“Lovely break in Whitstable”
