“This property is clearly a money grab - it needs love and renovation”
+The home is in a beautiful part of the Snowy Mountains - no argument there. A short walk to the lake and it is incredibly peaceful.
−There were several cleanliness and maintenance issues that impacted our stay. There was noticeable dust on most surfaces, and the windows appeared not to have been cleaned for some time. Cobwebs were present throughout the property. The backyard had clearly not been maintained recently , there was a weed approximately chest-high (I am 6 ft tall), which suggested the area had not been mowed in a long time. The BBQ had not been cleaned or maintained, with the plate covered in dirt and leaves. In the dining area, the lazy Susan contained condiments with questionable use-by dates. For example, the maple syrup indicated it should be used within 84 days of opening, but there was no opening date marked, so it was unclear whether it was still safe to use. There was also no coffee provided upon arrival , only an empty jar that had once contained coffee. We assumed they just wanted our credit card to cover the cost of any damages if found. We were surprised to learn, only after paying the full balance, that $500 would be suspended from our account as a damage bond. At that point, it was too late to cancel without losing the entire payment. While we understand the need for a bond, this was po

“Overall it is good.?”
+Comfortable. Excellent whitegoods, good supply of toiletries. Warm.
−Smelly carpet, vacuum does not have the part to pick up the dusts. No privacy locks in the laundry bathroom door, no wifi, the laundry door to the barbecue area is locked, no clothes hooks in the third bedroom. The sink in the big bathroom does not drain quickly. The front door is hard to lock and open.

“Value for money, very homely , many sightings of animals along the drive back to the house.”
+It felt very cosy, facilities were great, provided paper towels and even sugar which was unexpected but very helpful too. Brought my dog with us and there was no issues with him either coming.
−Nothing to complain about definitely would stay here again if bringing my dog.
