+Shelley was very easy to work with, attentive and quick to respond to all inquiries. The property itself was very clean and well appointed (decent sized pool and putting green plus a large, below grade shielded from the elements but very open deck/barbecue area that came in very handy as one of our days was rainy). Inside all areas were spacious and in excellent condition. You can see the effort put into designing and maintaining this space. Thank you, Shelley.
−Really nothing to complain about. Its a bit pricey (but imho worth it), the automatic pool cleaners were on every time we wanted to swim, and there is one bathroom. We knew that from the start. With four adults a bit of coordinating bathroom time was sometimes needed. Really, these are very minor concerns.

+The Drift is a beautiful place to stay, the beach almost makes up for everything. The home is beautiful the pool is clean, and the view is spectacular.
−I want to be completely transparent with my review. We traveled here from Michigan for a relaxing vacation, we invited two more guests after paying, although the drift comfortably sleeps 4 with two bedrooms we were charged an additional $300. In total $1000 for 3 nights. The owners live upstairs and have little information about how shared the space is on their site, there is a list of rules that they do not have pictured on their listing as well. Although the listing says that you will have the Drift all to yourself, be prepared to share the pool with the family who swam in it during our stay, leaving us little privacy. Anyone in the pool can oversee into the basement windows of the Drift. Expect the owners to utilize the space as if they do not have guests, this is fine and understandable but the lack of transparency upon booking left us unprepared to be sharing the entire space with a family. Being in the basement there was a lot of noise that comes from upstairs as well.

−Anybody with mobility issues (me) would find the amount of stairs a drawback, prticularly down to the beach.

“Amazing Stay in Goderich”
+The best location! Beach access for beautiful walks. Great amenities you could not ask for more. The gardens are well kept , diverse and worth taking the time to view. The unit was super clean and well appointed. The hosts were kind and excellent at ensuring you had every comfort needed. A very healing place. We cannot wait to return❤️

+Beautifully presented and very comfortable accommodation. We were only there for two nights but had we stayed longer we would have had everything we needed. Despite being part of the owners property the apartment was private. There is also a covered outside seating area which we utilised despite it being October. The surroundings are stunning with access to the beach.
