“Great location and lovely apartment”
+We were meeting our property owner at a parking garage - because the tariff included parking - which was unexpected and useful! The apartment was so convenient to town/attractions and well appointed. The kitchen was particularly well equipped even though we tended to eat out. We appreciated having the second bedroom as an additional space for our luggage. The apartment was light and well decorated. Definitely a good place to stay.

+The property was tastefully, decorated, comfortable, clean, and the location was quiet.
−One suggestion I would make is to add a non-slip shower mat in the tub and a grab bar for extra safety. As we get older, stepping in and out of a bathtub can be a little more challenging, and these small additions can make a big difference.

“There are so many good things going for this apartment, just don't plan to cook.”
+This apartment has so much going for it. It is very well located within walking distance of all parts of the old town; the included parking is close by and secure; the owner is very responsive; the apartment is quiet, spacious, comfortable, clean, well lit with natural light through the large windows. The bed was very comfortable. The shower was hot with good water flow. The kitchen has an impressive range of appliances - full size fridge/freezer, oven, stove top, microwave, coffee machine (with pods supplied), dishwasher (with dishwasher tablets), washing machine (with laundry detergent), and various treats left by the owner.
−If you are not planning to cook, then this apartment would easily be a 10/10. However, I was planning to cook, and the listed appliances were a significant factor in my chosing this apartment. Having an impressive range of appliances is next to useless if there are not the kitchen utensils (i.e. the kitchenware) available to make use of them. We were unable to locate any marked microwave safe bowls, dishes, plates or containers. This relegated the microwave to being an expensive appliance with which to either boil water for a cup, or reheat takeaway food which hopefully came in a microwaveable container. With the stove top, there are 2 saucepans, neither of which had any lids that we could find. This made boiling or steaming vegetables more difficult than it should have been. Given that there also was no sieve (only a colander with large holes), draining the water from the rice I had cooked was challenging. Also, most of the kitchen utensils were placed in high up cupboards - you need to be 175cm or taller to be able to reach them. These shortcomings are such easy things to fix, but their absence just left me disappointed and underwhelmed by the kitchen.

“Perfect accommodation when visiting this charming, ancient, beautifully restored city. Worked well for us.”
+The location was excellent. Safe free parking 5 minutes easy walk away after luggage drop off very convenient. Nice little modern holiday flat. Handy there is a washing machine (no dryer)- launderette not far for drying.
−No grab rail in the bath/shower. Uncomfortable lighting. No kettle (luckily we travel with kitchen sink and kettle 😉)
