“Large and clean apartment, but would recommend staying closer to city centre for tourists”
+The host was responsive, the apartment was large and clean, and the kitchen was fully stocked with utensils etc
−The location was much more inconvenient than we had previously anticipated (10-15 minute walk to the nearest ferry station and 40+ minute walk from the main attractions). Besides a handful of cafes nearby, the area is quite empty and very residential. We had to collect our own garbage and either hand it to the garbagemen at 9am every morning or throw it away ourselves 10 minutes away). The apartment AC is controlled by the host and so the apartment was at 24.7+ degrees (they wouldn't turn it down and told us to use the bedroom one), and the bedroom AC had to be turned off before midnight so we couldn't sleep with the AC on. There is a washing machine but we had to buy our own detergent.

−They used bleach to clean the bathroom which had a very strong smell when we arrived The split system in the bedroom was old and so was quite loud. You couldn’t leave it running at night which then made the room hot

“Perfect Apartment 👌”
+Detailed instructions on how to find the apartment from the train station. Spacious and well equipped kitchen and bathroom. Angela met us at the apartment and explained how everything worked. Loved the guide books - helped us plan a wonderful walking tour. Great location, quiet with lovely local restaurants.
−We were hot and exhausted when we arrived, something cold to drink or a snack on hand would have been great.

+El apartamento es muy cómodo y está todo superlimpio. Es espacioso y estupendo para tres, cuatro personas. Es más bonito que en las fotos. Tiene aire acondicionado en la habitación principal y en la cocina que está abierta al salón, muy de agradecer si vas en verano y más si te toca ola de calor como nos pasó a nosotros. La cocina está bien equipada y Ángela, la propietaria, lo tiene provisto de cosas básicas que se agradece no tener que comprar como aceite, sal, vinagre, azúcar, alguna especia, café, té e infusiones, servilletas de papel. El baño es muy amplio y otra vez Ángela lo deja provisto de todo, gel, champú, crema para el pelo, pasta de dientes, colutorio, agua micelar y algodones, crema para el cuerpo, kit de afeitado y depilado, vamos no falta de nada. Por supuesto toallas y papel higiénico más que suficientes. En el salón, guías y libros muy interesantes sobre Venecia y una consola con videojuegos para quien le interese. También deja Ángela todo lo necesario para la limpieza, escoba, aspirador, bayetas, estropajos, lavajilas, detergentes... El apartamento está situado en el barrio de Dorsoduro cerca de la Universidad. Es un barrio supertranquilo casi parece que estás en
−Lo pongo en inconvenientes, aunque para nosotros no lo era, es un primer piso sin ascensor, que en Venecia supongo es lo más habitual. La escalera es amplia y fácil de subir y un tramo corto, si subes las de los puentes, subes esta sin problema y que para llegar a los otros barrios hay andar un poco, nosotros preferimos andar un poco más y estar en zona tranquila, no me quiero imaginar lo que será alojarse en zona San Marcos o Rialto.
