“Unheated apartment during a cold winter month, poor communication from host, no TV or WiFo”
+The location of the apartment was very good, just a short walk to the main square. Sadly that is the only positive we have.
−The heating in the apartment was not on when we arrived, access to the heating system was behind a locked door so we were unable to turn it on, we tried to contact the host but they would not respond. So we were left to sleep in a very cold apartment during late November. In addition when we arrived there was no TV in the apartment, despite this being advertised. Please also be aware that check in is 16:30 and check-out is 10:00, I asked to check-in 1 hour early but this was declined. It was then very frustrating to find that the check in process was through a door code. Communication with the host throughout the booking process and our stay was non-existent. Note that the parking space is just off-road parking, there is no private space, however we were able to find a space without any issue.

+Really well appointed comfortable rooms. Final stop on a bike tour. Good quit street parking for bikes. Close to Menin gate.

“The location was excellent, on a quiet road which is less than 5 mins walk from the central market”
+The location was excellent, on a quiet road which is less than 5 mins walk from the central market square. The views across Ypres and the aspect of the rooms was exceptional. The apartment was spotlessly clean, well appointed. This is definately a wonderful little apartment for a stay, certainly for a couple or 4 people. Note, room 2 is on a mezzanine floor above the living room but is private, comfy and has amazing views.

“Excellent, I would recommend and stay there again”
+Very high standard of comfort, decoration and cleanliness. The owner is very pleasant and helpful. Lift in the premises was unexpected but really useful. The location is minutes walk from the station and the town centre.
−A little milk in the apartment would have been useful so that we could make tea/coffee as we arrived in the evening so had not had time to shop.

“Great apartment in very central location!”
+Great location- we were able to walk to the centre and Menin Gate very easily.
−The second bedroom was on a mezzanine so not much privacy. This didn’t bother us but might be an issue for other groups.
