“Beautiful house, perfect location, perfect hosting!”
+We stayed here for 10 days in mid July in the height of summer with our 4 children. The property was fantastic, great location, beautiful property, our host was fantastic and extremely helpful. Any issues we had or any info/recommendations we needed, she was extremely helpful. Would love to stay again and we were sad to leave! In case anyone was wondering - There is aircon on every floor. The rooftop balcony is fantastic we spent many of our evenings there for dinner. Thank you so much to our host Antonella!

−As others have said the stairs are very steep to the roof terrace. The kitchen is very dark.

“Wonderful place to stay in Monopoli.”
+It was a beautiful property, well furnished, decorated and equipped. Close to everything, but also quiet. Lovely roof terrace. Master bedroom and bathroom particularly spacious and lovely.
−The two smaller rooms didn’t have aircon - there is a unit in the hallway so it is possible to cool the rooms down by leaving doors open.

“A great four story town house in a prime location. The perfect base for us to use to explore Monopoli!”
+The property is in a prime location but still setback from the main hustle and bustle. It was clean, very spacious and checkin very easy.
−The only thing, as others have noted, is that the stairs to the rooftop and a little steep. But not unmanageable at all (maybe after a few too many glasses but that’s it).

−The stairs to the terrace were very steep so it wasn’t easy to dine up there - but we managed!

“Monopoli is a wonderful town for food and beaches and a good location to make day trips.”
+The house is in a great location in the historic district. Easy walking to food markets, restaurants and beaches. The host left a bottle of wine, milk, juice and several snacks for our early evening arrival. We stayed 2 weeks and after the first week clean sheets and towels were dropped off. The AC units worked great and you needed them due to noisy streets. Restaurants are wonderful but make a reservation.
−There are a lot of stairs in this house and very steep stairs to the roof top patio. The amount of noise in Monopoli was very surprising. In general, the early morning noise is due to glass disposal and evening noise is due to restaurants and general street traffic until 1am. The kitchen was not conducive for cooking.

+Location is superb - right on the old port. Very nice terrace.
−One out of the 3 rooms of the property is quite awful - it has separate beds and no outdoor windows. THIS IS NOT SOMETHING DISCLOSED IN THE BOOKING PAGE. The property manager was extremely arrogant and rude when asked about the fact that this third room was not advertised. Also something to beware are the City Council’s rules for waste management - its important to follow them strictly.
