“Good for a short stay”
+The location is close to nice restaurants and bars, the room is large with a kitchen and a seating area. The bathroom is well renovated and the heating worked nicely. The host was very responsive and communication was easy.
−The room is quite dark, and even though it is large, we would not want to spend any more time than necessary inside. It was generally clean except for the table, which should be changed. Also, the host asked us directly to give a 10-star rating.

“Wonderful host in the authentic historic district”
+The location of this property was fantastic! It is right next to the Duomo and one of the best pizzerias in Salerno. There is also a great coffee shop just below. Both places have wonderful and kind staff. It was within walking distance to the train station and the ferry stops to the Amalfi coast if you are in good shape. Each was about a 15-20 min walk. The property owner, Rino, was absolutely amazing. He met us at the door and kept in contact with us through our stay. He even kept us informed of events happening in the area and offered suggestions of things to see and do. He always responded quickly to any message.
−We stayed at the property for 18 days. This place has two units. We began our stay in the smaller unit because it has a balcony/terrace. The view was a little too authentic for us and we found we didn’t spend any time on the balcony. The kitchen also wasn’t very functional for an extended stay like we had planned. It was a perfectly fine unit for a short 2-3 day stay. We moved into the larger unit and were much more comfortable there. The kitchen was fully stocked with pans and utensils, however there weren’t many dinner sized plates. Neither unit is a perfect match to the online photos. The photos must have been taken a while ago. The units are now very monochromatic and kind of depressing if you are there for an extended stay. Since the building is in the heart of the historic district, there isn’t much natural light into either unit. The buildings are too close together, but the area itself is great.

+The House was so clean and the location is great. 5-10min walk from the city centre. Easy to reach everything. Rino was great host. The supermarket is 2min walk from the home and you can buy everything thear. Kitchen is fully equiped and the bed is so, so comfortable. Thank you Rino for everything.
−If a couple + friend or family member is staying in the property it is a little bit uncomfortable because the bedroom is not isolated. But for just a couple or friends the house is perfect.

“Great room and a very helpful host”
+Very helpful and caring host who took care of our group from the moment we landed, helped with getting to the appartment, recommended places to visit in the city, great contact. The room was great, very comfortable, perfect location and very close to the city center, 1 min walk to the Cathedral. For sure we can reccomend the stay at his place and we hope to come back!
