“Would not recommend this place”
−They didn’t provide any oil or seasoning for cooking. Also have the apartment listed as 2 bathrooms which typically means 2 fulls bath with showers. It is really only 1.5 bath so that made it tough to share 1 shower with 4 people. Location was about a 10 min walk from the center of town and not in the nicest area.

“Site Under Construction”
+Good location, facilities were good especially the washing machine.
−All would have been good except we were not advised prior that the building was under construction - a new lift is being installed in the foyer whereby the stairs were being partly demolished, creating noise and dust. We had to continually swept dust in our apartment and put up with construction noise and exposure to dust when entering/exiting. The host advised we could cancel. However, this was difficult for us in a foreign city. To be fair, the host offered a refund, however only honoured half the amount paid.

“Lovely apartment in central location”
+The apartment is spacious and has a lovely ambiance. It’s in a good location for many attractions and to soak up the essence of the old town. It’s close to good public transport on Via Roma. It’s comfortably furnished and has a washing machine. It’s also opposite a block sized park/garden which is refreshing. Great food providor and restaurant very close by. We enjoyed it.
−The check in and access is complicated. You need to collect the keys from 5 blocks away before going to the apartment. This is easily missed in the second paragraph of the long instructions if you’re not careful. Having collected the keys there is only one set and nowhere (safe box) to leave them outside the apartment so if you go out separately someone gets locked out. This can be inconvenient and takes a bit of planning and management to avoid. The air conditioning doesn’t really work. We couldn’t get the apartment below 24.5 degrees ever.

“Good value”
+Good location, easy parking for the weekend, at no costs, nice kitchen, fairly clean space, has air conditioning, you can not go without in Palermo in June, it s very hot and humid outside

“Great place in a great spot.”
+The apartment was great in a great location, it was clean, it has everyting you need even a washing machine. The beds are great and it was relatively calm during the night. There is street parking in front of the apartment, almost always you can find a spot. The self check in was easy and the apartment owners were very responsive on Whatsapp.
−On the parking there was always one negroid guy that trys to get you to pay him for the parking, just ignore him, and have a full insurance on the rental car.
