+Great location, close to the main square and supermarkets just 2 minutes away. Very comfortable bed, quiet and nice bathroom. Owners were very lovely and even allowed me to leave luggage in and check out late.
−Nothing not to like, it was great stay, maybe it was just a bit unusual to send selfies for check-in and once you’re in the apartment.

−Cooktop in kitchen did not work. When contacted owner he did not believe us until the next day when he came to check it out himself. He provided new the next day. Additionally, the washer/dryer did not work properly. Also contacted owner. They were unable to show us how the unit worked. Owner checked it and said it was working. It never worked. Instruction book was impossible to understand. We had to leave with wet cloths because the dryer never worked. Additionally, the door to apartment had to be locked with a key. When we departed we left keys in apartment as per checkout instructions. Later the owner called us screaming that we did not the lock door. We have been in Europe several times, on this trip we have been here 41 days and stayed in nine different locations. In our travel around the world we have never written a bad review until now.

+The apartment is very nice and equipped with everything you need, which would save carrying a lot of luggage. It is ideal for a couple and we really liked it. You don't have to bring coffee, shampoos, soaps, laundry detergent and quite a few other things. The hosts have made sure to pamper their guests with extra conveniences like water in the fridge, a bottle of wine, etc. These little things make an impression. They have written a very detailed guide to everything you might need, including what you can visit in Catania and good restaurants. We didn't like Catania itself that much. Despite the ancient buildings and cultural monuments that are interesting to visit, the city is quite dirty and littered with rubbish, which creates a bad smell almost everywhere. But if you're thinking of visiting it, we recommend to stay at Dimora. The city centre and Duomo are about a 15 minute walk away which makes the apartment suitable for people who have no problem walking on foot. There is a bus from the airport to the Duomo, but we do not recommend carrying large suitcases on foot to the apartment as the road goes uphill and is uncomfortable.
