“Want to go back”
+It was totally delightful but would have preferred the "how to get there a day earlier." I think it might be an idea to warn folk that it is difficult to back out of the drive onto that road. Not that it is that busy but the corners make visibility awkward when you are no longer 21!. I found the best way was to back to the left and proceed 250 m up the road to the gateway on the opposite side and do a U turn. once I worked that trick out all was easy.

“Lovely stay”
+Loved the view from the veranda and the attention to detail, bed was comfy and it wasn't noisy as expected.
−No curtain in the lounge facing neighbours and the other curtain rail was hanging down which was unsightly and hard to use, kitchen cutlery access needs attention.

“A spacious place with beautiful views. Could do with a refresh.”
+Very convenient facilities. Great to have access to 2 bathrooms and 3 toilets. Beautiful sea views.
−A bit far from the centre (30mn walk). No direct beach access. The place is a bit run down.

“Comfortable spacious house”
+The house is quiet, despite its proximity to the road. The view from the balcony is stunning - whales came swimming in during dinner, jumping out of the water and spraying water - absolutely stunning! The barbecue is excellent - use foil to keep it from getting dirty. The split-system air conditioner heats the entire house well. Plenty of closets, clothes hooks, and other amenities make it perfect for a comfortable, long-term stay. A separate task is to count all the roosters hidden around the house )))
−There was hope that we would see penguins, but they were not released )))

“Lovely and would recommend.”
+Lovely home with beautiful uninterrupted view of the sea. Close to all the amenities in Bicheno. Was easy to find with easy access off street parking.
−My only one small comment is that the bedding is clearly summer friendly so we could have done with an extra blanket.
